00:00 I'm wishing my sisters and my brothers strength right now because I know we're tired and I
00:04 know we need it now more than ever.
00:08 Clearly we got the whole world's attention, obviously, and justice has to be served, period.
00:16 And if it's not, I don't think things are going to change or get better.
00:22 And I know I've been protesting, I know a lot of us have been out in the streets protesting,
00:27 and it's been a lot of unity, but I also see a lot of people with ulterior motives that
00:33 look like undercover cops.
00:35 I don't know if they are undercover cops, but starting a lot of the conflict, a lot
00:41 of the issues, and we've all seen places where they got them bricks conveniently located
00:47 to wreak havoc, and I don't know what the ulterior motive is.
00:50 I don't know if it's to make us look like we wild beasts or don't have control, but
00:55 we clearly are not wild beasts.
00:57 We're extraordinary, talented, magical people that if you took us out of the equation, the
01:05 world would be very, very bland.
01:07 And our ancestors built this country for free.
01:13 So I'm just talking from the heart right now, but one of my biggest issues is that this
01:20 government, this current government is built, and country, is built on a racist foundation.
01:28 A lot of us know this.
01:32 And you want to talk about systemic oppression, you want to talk about the justice system
01:35 being targeted to people that look like me, and it's impossible to get out of once you're
01:39 in there.
01:40 I was talking with my homie Mike about some of the first police forces ever was made during
01:46 slavery down south in the southern states, and their main focus was to capture, apprehend,
01:54 beat, discipline slaves, rip them apart from their families, keep them apart, and God knows
01:59 whatever else.
02:00 And if they didn't do that, those officers didn't do that, they would be punished.
02:04 So that's what I'm saying.
02:05 That's how deep it goes back.
02:07 So no wonder that a cop feels like they could kill a black man or woman and feel like it's
02:12 a way of life.
02:13 You know what I'm saying?
02:15 It's like this country has a big ass gas right in the middle of it, where all this organs
02:19 are that's so deep and been there so long, that it's just rotting from the inside.
02:25 And we could put makeup on top of it and concealer and shit to make it look like it's not so
02:31 bad, but it is that bad, and we're experiencing it in real time on a daily basis.
02:37 So you want to talk about land of equality and freedom, I don't feel equal and I don't
02:41 feel free.
02:42 You know, of course, let's speak up and be heard, but things have to change.
02:47 Maybe these rules have to get updated.
02:49 Maybe these laws have to get updated and government has to relay that foundation because it is
02:55 a racist foundation right now.
02:59 And it feels like it's a long road ahead of us.
03:01 So I'm just wishing.
