Boss Burgers are opening a new van in Gosport and offering half price for the first three days

00:00 Hi my name is Sammy, I'm currently in Shetfields, nearby the Wickham. So I'm trading the burger
00:08 vans groups in about nearly three years I'm here. I've got three type of vans here, I've
00:14 got pizza van, I've got kebab van and I've got breakfast van as well. So we've got three
00:19 one trading at the moment. So hopefully we are opening one burger van, it's going to
00:24 be homemade burger by the range in Gosport. It's going to be starting 6th February next
00:31 month. First three days everything going to be half price. So yeah we've been trading
00:38 three years now, I'm employing eight people. I can proudly say we are the busiest kebab
00:44 van in South and you've probably heard British Kebab Awards, we are the finalists now. So
00:53 thank you to all our customers, they start voting for us. So we're probably going to
00:58 win, so I'm hoping. So I get a few phone calls from the British Kebab Awards, they're inviting
01:03 on the 27th February, they're inviting me to London to entertainment, everything British
01:10 Kebab Awards entertainment. So I'm going to go there, so hopefully I'm going to win the
01:15 best kebab van in the UK 2024. So we're hoping that. In three years, I mean as a customer
01:23 waste in our online system we got registered nearly 4,000 customers. I mean I can say address,
01:31 4,000 address, how many people leaving each address, you think about that. And then, well
01:37 helping to run here, proudly I can say we make nice kebabs, mainly homemade. I make
01:45 all my sauces homemade, all my customers know that. And if anyone go on our Facebook page,
01:51 they can see what we're doing in there. And yeah, just people happy, I'm happy, you know,
01:59 just we do delivery services all around here, not just eat or Uber, we don't do third parties.
02:05 I got my own website, they go through from my website and we can deliver it to them.
02:10 So all in house and... Yeah, yeah, yeah. And mainly they come and
02:15 at least every August, beginning of August every year, the Wiccan Festival here. And
02:24 most of burger vans, they go into the festivals and that's my luck, I guess, festival coming
02:31 to me. So it's, yeah, it's about 50,000 to 60,000 people coming to join a festival and
02:38 that making me like mad, madly busy, really, really busy. Yeah, at the moment, just most
02:46 places moaning about January, February, quite month. So I never had that problem. It's because
02:53 the quality we do, customer service we do, the hygiene, and we care about our customers.
02:59 If my family or my kids eat what I'm cooking, I serve same meal to my customers. You know,
03:07 if I don't eat, if I don't like it, I don't serve my customers. I even tell people not
03:12 for me. If you're not happy with the food you cook, put it in the bin, make it new one.
03:18 So in regards of your new set up on the shop in the range you say. Tell us a little bit
03:25 more about that and what you bring into the area. Okay, the Gosport on the 6th of February,
03:31 hopefully we're going to start there. It's going to be mainly breakfast and burger sort
03:36 of thing. We're going to do homemade milkshake. We go like a proper coffee machine I just
03:41 bought there, which is makes cappuccino, espresso, everything. We're going to operate there from
03:47 8am in the morning to 4pm, except Sundays. We're going to have a day off Sunday. We don't
03:52 do Mondays here. All my vans close here on Mondays and we're going to close by the range
03:57 on Sundays. Obviously I'm going to get the meat from the ribs of the beef. That's the
04:05 most tasty beef ever. I'm going to make my own burgers. Obviously most of the sauces
04:12 I'm going to make burger sauce, I'm going to make homemade. The barbs and baguettes
04:19 it's going to be daily fresh. Anything people need I will love to help them. I mean people
04:26 came to go, I got nearly 25-30 families from Gosport coming to my community. They drive
04:32 past 11-12 kebab place to come to me here. So I'm going to start with the burger van,
04:39 mainly breakfast and lunch. If everything goes okay, I might do kebab van as well in
04:46 the evening time. Same type of here. The food you have from the van, I'm in this business
04:54 25 years. I work shops and restaurants and pubs. I work everywhere. The food you get
05:01 from the van is a lot tastier than shops. It's because it's open air food, always tasty.
05:08 Once the fresh air gets into the food, it makes a completely difference.
