00:00 Vice President Kamala Harris has been in the talks lately where she was seen

00:04 meeting with a rapper Quavo and hosting a party based on hip-hop's 50th

00:09 anniversary. However the question lingers if VP Harris is pandering or if she is

00:15 truly genuine with her actions for the black community. Boosie has some words

00:19 for her too. The Baton Rouge native is eager to meet with VP Harris to discuss

00:24 the problem of gun violence. While Vice President Kamala Harris hasn't publicly

00:29 responded to Boosie's request yet, it's worth noting that Quavo met with her and

00:33 other lawmakers to discuss gun violence. The rapper's motivation for advocating

00:38 against gun violence comes from the tragic loss of his nephew Takeoff who

00:43 was fatally shot in 2022. Harris isn't new to advocating for gun control. She

00:49 has pledged a series of executive actions before getting elected such as

00:54 universal background checks, holding gun manufacturers accountable, closing

01:00 domestic violence firearm loopholes, and banning imported AR-15 style assault

01:06 weapons. Amongst the hip-hop community gun violence is very prominent where we

01:11 have lost major figures such as PnB Rock, Nipsey Hussle, and Young Dolph. Many hip-hop

01:18 artists have used their platform to shed light on the devastating gun-related
