On January 24, the Bombay High Court refused to restrain Maratha reservation activist Manoj Jarange from entering Mumbai with his supporters, reported PTI. The High Court asked the Maharashtra government to ensure that the city roads are not blocked. Division bench of Justices A S Gadkari and Shyam Chandak said that the state government has the power to take the required action to maintain law and order situation. Manoj Jarange began his march to Mumbai from his village Antarwali Sarati in Jalna district on January 20. Thousands joined him in the protest. They are demanding reservation for the Maratha community in government jobs and education. Watch the video to know more.
