00:00 Alright we just found this guy on the shore.
00:07 Not sure what's wrong, we're not doing so good.
00:13 Raptor was just floating in the water, wasn't moving.
00:16 Beautiful bird though.
00:17 Yeah we're gonna take him back.
00:19 Riding solo today.
00:21 Just me and him.
00:23 Alright dude.
00:26 He was more calm than my house cat.
00:31 We're gonna rock it back.
00:33 I think he just kind of given up.
00:36 Not doing too well.
00:41 He's got a cold heart though.
00:44 He's chilling, running safety boat.
00:47 You know these are wild animals, they don't like to be around humans.
00:52 Never been this close to birds, so I was like, "Oh, I'm gonna go for it."
00:55 So I was like, "Oh, he's definitely really sick."
00:58 Oh no!
01:06 If he can fly, that would be nice.
01:11 He can't, otherwise he would have left.
01:14 Trust me, he couldn't fly.
01:24 The eagle whisperer strikes again.
01:28 Oh my gosh.
01:30 Oh my god.
01:46 His head was starting to droop a little bit.
01:49 Feels like it's not even gonna make it to the treatment facility.
01:54 Oh.
01:56 Alright.
01:57 Ready to go?
01:58 We should go.
02:00 Get him to the professionals.
02:02 We're on the way to the Raptor Center.
02:04 Keep left onto track two.
02:06 He's asleep.
02:08 His hand is just, he's still getting a strong heartbeat.
02:12 He's a bit nervous for a second actually.
02:14 But, he's just taking a nap.
02:17 Before I got there, I think I was in the water for a long time.
02:21 I was just shocked how calm he is.
02:23 Yeah, he was breathing plenty, wasn't breathing well.
02:27 They checked him all over.
02:29 He was exhausted and he was dehydrated.
02:32 Once they get to that level, basically just can't hunt for food anymore.
02:37 He stayed with them through the winter, given the best rate of survival.
02:43 Alright guys, last summer we picked Raptor up out of the water.
02:47 And she's been in rehab ever since and we're about to let her go.
02:50 So, it's pretty cool.
02:52 We attempted to release her two weeks ago.
02:54 It was a pretty windy day and she was shy about going.
02:57 So there's a chance that she won't go today.
02:59 We opened up the cage, popped his head out, had a quick look around.
03:03 And he is super happy to get back out on the river and that's where we want to see him.
03:07 There she goes.
