00:00 Getting healthy, no darkness retreats.
00:04 I think it's just getting healthy, getting stronger.
00:14 I was dealing with this first day of training camp.
00:21 So I think, man, I'm just looking to get back on the right foot and
00:28 get back to having fun.
00:31 >> You just can't play.
00:33 >> Yeah, of course I wanna play.
00:34 In my mind, I wanted to play more than just one more season.
00:39 I just gotta get healthy first.
00:42 We talk about coming back from injury.
00:49 I was told at the time it was a 12 week process.
00:53 We came back in six weeks.
00:54 I fought the doctors every week.
01:00 You could ask Dr. Bradley.
01:02 I just wanted to put my hand in that pile.
01:06 But the flip side of that is I put my body through a lot of pain this year.
01:13 It was getting me to the stadium and go from there,
01:18 but I can't be doing that year in and year out.
01:23 >> When you say that it was the first day of training camp?
01:26 >> Yeah. >> It just cropped up?
01:26 >> Yeah, yeah.
01:28 When I was sitting out of practice, it wasn't just rest.
01:31 It was trying to get things calmed down.
01:33 We got to the season and I tore it completely off the bone.
01:37 And find the right doctors, not know if I was gonna do it here,
01:43 my surgery here or out of state.
01:45 Luckily, Dr. Bradley gave me a better recovery time coming out.
01:50 And got the surgery and just hit the ground running.
01:55 More walking than running, but it was a grind to get back to even my football.
