00:00 [BIRDS CHIRPING]
00:03 You want to grab a knife or a pen?
00:08 I just grabbed it.
00:09 It's awesome.
00:10 It was terrible.
00:13 We were worried we wouldn't get any good.
00:16 And so we went around and around and around.
00:18 For the longest I've ever flown.
00:20 [INAUDIBLE]
00:29 [HORSE NEIGHING]
00:33 [NON-ENGLISH SINGING]
00:36 [NON-ENGLISH SINGING]
00:40 No, no.
01:03 I'll start off with the little one.
01:06 Well, look, it's fantastic to be here
01:09 in Orange with the mayor, the local federal member, Andrew
01:14 Gee, the local state member, Phil Donato, Senator Debo
01:19 Neal, the MLC Lawrence, and other councillors
01:25 and former councillors.
01:26 But importantly as well, community leaders
01:29 who are with us here today.
01:31 Orange, we have LiftOff, a $33 and 1/2 million project
01:36 that will transform this region.
01:39 It will add to the other world class facilities that
01:42 are right here in Orange and create a precinct that's
01:46 about arts, about entertainment, about learning,
01:50 that will boost tourism, and importantly,
01:53 will create jobs in the construction
01:55 over the next 18 months.
01:57 We know that at least 60 jobs directly
02:00 will be created on this site.
02:02 And the reason why community infrastructure
02:05 going through local government is a good idea
02:08 is because you get local procurement.
02:10 You get that local multiplier.
02:12 You will get local jobs created because the mayor here
02:16 and the council will ensure that that benefit flows
02:21 through to local communities.
02:24 So I want to acknowledge the leadership of the council,
02:27 but also the leadership of the local federal member, Andrew
02:32 Gee, who argued strongly for this funding,
02:35 to Phil Donato, who argued for state funding as well.
02:39 I was speaking with Chris Mins last night.
02:42 This is a very exciting project.
02:44 I DJ.
02:46 I haven't done it for a while.
02:47 I used to do that for charities and for various things.
02:51 I can do it as well.
02:52 [LAUGHTER]
02:54 How many of you do that?
02:55 Well, I do do--
02:56 I've done some barn-and-duty DJing just for good fun.
03:02 Yeah.
03:03 Good fun.
03:04 How many counts do you need, guys?
03:05 I reckon it's on three.
03:07 Three.
03:07 Two.
03:08 [LAUGHTER]
03:10 Ready?
03:11 And a one, and a two, and a three.
03:13 Away you go, boys and girls.
03:14 Here we go.
03:15 Hey, hey, round of applause.
03:17 [APPLAUSE]
03:19 [SIDE CONVERSATION]
03:23 [APPLAUSE]
03:26 [BLANK_AUDIO]
