00:00 Think of human life, the ordinary human life.
00:02 Keep the few exceptions apart.
00:04 What does a normal human being do apart from this?
00:07 Nonsense from morning till night?
00:09 And then more nonsense in the dreams?
00:11 Go and ask a buffalo what it lives for.
00:13 It will look at you with great wonderment rather amusement.
00:17 What a silly question.
00:18 Purpose of life.
00:19 The same kind of look you will get from most so-called human beings as well.
00:23 You just ask them what is the purpose of life?
00:25 And you will be wondering whether it is a man or a buffalo you are looking at.
00:29 The same kind of looks you will get.
00:31 Purpose?
00:32 The purpose is to eat and get fat and have sex.
00:35 Life is sorrow.
00:36 If that indeed is the case, why don't we find people shrieking and weeping?
00:41 Because as human beings, we have a very unfortunate capacity.
00:45 The capacity to get adjusted.
00:47 The capacity to get acclimatized or conditioned.
00:50 So if you remain in a particular state for very, very long, you start taking that as normal.
00:55 But the fact is, what you take as normal is not your nature.
