London’s school system is under threat from families leaving the capital. Data from a report by London Councils has some stark warnings. Almost 8,000 fewer children will need school places over the next four years. This is a 4.4 per cent decrease in Reception places, or 128 classes. Boroughs also predict a 4.3 per cent drop in demand for second school places.
