According to the recall notice, faulty airbags should be repaired before owners drive their vehicles again.
If the airbags are deployed, metal fragments could shoot out and cause injury or death. .

age of the airbags,

Owners SHOULD NOT DRIVE these vehicles until the FREE safety recall repair has been conducted, Toyota, via recall announcement.
Instead of driving your
affected vehicle to a dealer, .
Toyota recommends either having it
towed or requesting a mobile repair
where it is currently located. .
This recall follows another that was made about
a month ago in which the proper deployment of
passenger airbags in 1 million vehicles was questionable. .
