00:00 >> Absolutely, and I wanna give thanks to my teammates.
00:02 They told me that, just shoot the next one.
00:05 And just having that kind of support on the staff and
00:09 in that locker room, it's an amazing feeling.
00:12 >> And then you said you guys had to be better defensively.
00:14 You said you need to be more consistent defensively.
00:17 I know you haven't had a chance to go watch film or anything like that, but
00:20 just initial reactions.
00:21 Like, what do you think you guys could have done better today?
00:24 What are you thinking about right now on the defensive end?
00:27 What could you have done better today?
00:28 >> My initial reaction, I think transition.
00:31 I feel like we gave a lot of buckets there, just pushing it.
00:33 We knew that going into the game.
00:34 Our rebounding as well.
00:37 I feel like we had some really good opportunities to get that stop.
00:42 We were on a pretty good run, but we just didn't get that rebound.
00:44 I feel like those two are really main things, and some of our switching.
00:48 Wasn't the best, too.
00:49 I know they got a couple of looks.
00:51 But they're all things we can get better at, all things that we can fix.
00:55 >> Ryan, do you have thoughts on that?
00:58 >> Yeah, I see that.
00:59 Illinois is a great team.
01:01 They're not ranked in the top 25 for no reason, especially with Shannon back.
01:04 He excels in transition, so that's where he was able to eat.
01:09 I feel like we should have done a better job of building walls against him.
01:13 I mean, it's kind of hard when the kids come in 25 miles per hour at you.
01:16 So, like I said, there's things we can correct, we can be better at.
01:22 They are a terrific offensive rebounding team, so
01:26 we knew that was a challenge going into the game.
01:28 So I think next game will be much better.
