00:00 Hi everybody, thank you for coming today to open our blind shop. I'd like to introduce you to Peter Ball who will be doing a few words for us. She is our Director of Income and Marketing.
00:13 Thank you very much to everyone today for turning up. We're absolutely thrilled to be opening our shop in Blythe.
00:19 For many years, many of the local community have supported the hospice and many people have used the service from Blythe as well.
00:26 So we're absolutely thrilled to be putting down roots in the area. This shop is the first one that we've opened since the closing.
00:33 So we're absolutely excited to be opening shops again. And this was particularly exciting because we took time to really think about what our choices should be and what they should look like going forward.
00:43 We had a re-brand of the hospice in 2019 and unfortunately we kind of got shut down, all of us got shut down, so we were never really able to roll one out properly.
00:52 So James from Behind the Lines really helped us to take the concept forward and has done lots of the lovely illustrations that you'll see that we'll use going forward.
01:01 So thank you very much for coming today. We hope you have a wonderful time exploring the shop. There's some amazing things in there.
01:07 We're already getting the right of things so you're going to have to be quick I think.
01:10 There's no more fitting way than for Amy who uses our services, has done since 2010, she's 19 and her family, to come to Throne Blythe and are going to open and put the ribbon and open the shop today.
