00:00 Well Bob's music was an inspiration from the time I was a little boy, from my birth certificate.
00:06 My name is Ronaldo Marcus Green after Marcus Garvey. Marcus Garvey is who Bob studied.
00:10 So for me I think it was written. So when the project came to me, I wanted to run from it but I couldn't.
00:16 The music chased me down so I had to do it.
00:19 I mean it was paramount to the process. It helped us be better in front of and behind the camera.
00:26 To have that level of nuance, I felt like we had an extension of Bob on set.
00:30 Through his family, through language, through mannerisms, through details, archival, things that aren't accessible to the public.
00:38 So we had a sort of VIP ticket into his life and how rich does that make us?
00:43 It was an incredible wealth of knowledge and information and so forth.
00:47 Look, when Bob made music he didn't make it in 5-1 and 7-1.
00:52 So to experience his music in a real theater, with real sound, I mean it's a new way to experience his music, his message.
00:59 And the movie is really for a new generation of Bob Marley fans that don't know his music.
01:03 And people that do know him and love him, I hope they love him even more.
01:06 No, Redemption song for sure. I don't know what it is about that song but it gets me every time.
01:12 It's quite emotional for me for whatever reason, it just hits that spot.
01:15 What he was singing for, where he was singing from, just a real special tune.
01:22 Oh my god, Kingsley Ben-Adir, LaShonna Lynch, Anthony Welsh, Toast & Co, Michael Ward, Michael Gandolfini, James Norton.
01:31 The list goes on. Our local talent, David Kerr, Ashton Barrett Jr., Naomi Cowie.
01:36 I mean so many talent in front of the camera, local.
01:40 Just such amazing, especially here in the UK. You guys have cornered the market on talent.
01:47 So really, really wonderful cast.
