00:00 Our travel forecast is really problematic in the southwest, but there are other areas
00:05 where we have really decent travel conditions for Thursday.
00:08 We do have a few minor concerns involving patchy freezing drizzle in the morning into
00:13 Minneapolis, maybe a little patchy freezing fog as well, just a tiny, tiny glaze of icy
00:19 moisture could be left on some surfaces.
00:21 And then wind is a concern into Dallas in the afternoon, high volume airports, the winds
00:25 pick up and that restricts the number of runways that could be used.
00:29 We have showers in Seattle and there's a big problem tomorrow morning in LA with the heart
00:33 of this next storm system rolling through.
00:35 So we've got wet weather, Seattle, Portland, Boise, rain showers, Reno turning wet.
00:39 If you head west of Reno and you're trying to get down into Sacramento, you have big
00:43 problems there with just feet of snow and if you can postpone travel, traveling through
00:47 the passes is not going to be fun there in the Sierra with feet of snow coming down for
00:52 many areas.
00:53 And again, drenching rain all morning long or at least for the morning commute there
00:57 in LA.
00:58 Those are some major problems.
00:59 So if you can work from home tomorrow, a remote day, it's going to be a better, less stressful
01:05 day there.
01:06 We still have some rain showers in San Francisco, also very wet into Vegas with some rain on
01:10 the way there.
01:12 Up into Casper, we have a little bit of leftover wind in the morning, so look out for high
01:16 profile vehicles on the highway.
01:18 And again, we mentioned that patchy freezing fog into Minneapolis and also the Dallas wind
01:22 concerns could lead to a few flight delays in the afternoon here and there.
01:26 Also we have some showers just kind of brushing the area of Detroit, mainly rain showers in
01:31 the afternoon tied to our new front dropping on in.
01:34 We could see up to an inch of snow in Bangor, up to an inch into Montreal and rain over
01:38 to some snow showers late in the day in Buffalo.
01:40 But Boston and South are in good shape.
01:42 So we do have a few hundred flight cancellations expected for Thursday, mainly in the southwest
01:46 and again into Sunday, also mainly in the southwest into California.
