Close Call for US Destroyer in Houthi Missile Attack; USS Gravely Deploys "Last Line of Defense"

On January 30, a Houthi anti-ship cruise missile approached within a mile of a US destroyer before being successfully intercepted. CNN reports that this incident marks the closest a Houthi attack has come to a US warship. Typically, these missiles are intercepted by US destroyers at a distance of around eight miles or more from the ship.
