00:00 Well, we are dealing with more pothole weather in parts of the nation, especially in parts of the northeast and the west here, where you do get some moisture in there.
00:08 Some of these puddles freeze, thaw and freeze again and so forth.
00:12 So we have some snow showers and rain showers early on Friday moving through parts of the northeast and also to the west.
00:19 We've got a lot of issues there, so we're going to dig into that western storyline in just a bit.
00:22 But one thing to keep in mind, New York City, you'll see a batch of rain move in from the west tonight.
00:27 And there will be some residual showers in the morning in areas around Trenton and New York City as well.
00:32 Spotty snow showers farther north.
00:34 Southeast, you're in good shape. Midwest, you're in good shape as well.
00:36 But look out for some strong thunderstorms into the evening.
00:39 And daytime weather, you may be okay for travel in Dallas, but look out for this band of storms to strengthen.
00:45 And into the night, we are concerned about possibly some major delays or at least travel hurdles from Dallas to the west, mainly Friday evening and Friday night.
00:55 And we still have some rain in Seattle, some showers here and there into areas around Los Angeles and San Francisco and some showers into Boise.
01:01 Now, there's a lot of blue on the map, but keep in mind most of the bigger cities are in valley locations.
01:06 And if you're traveling through any of the mountain passes, you're going to encounter some snow across the western U.S.
01:10 Tetons, lots of snow there. Rain showers from Salt Lake City.
01:13 If you're heading up for maybe a two or three day weekend into the mountains in Alta or Snowbird,
01:18 you're going to have some tricky travel getting to those higher elevation destinations.
01:23 Rain showers still in San Francisco and L.A.
01:25 The worst of this was on Thursday.
01:27 We're going to get hammered, though, with very heavy rain in SoCal Sunday, Monday into Tuesday.
01:33 Some morning showers leftover into Phoenix, showers here and there into Albuquerque heading farther north, though.
01:39 Again, we're in good shape, maybe a little bit of a breeze into Omaha.
01:42 That's the only minor travel related concern there.
01:45 So as we look at the flight cancellations, we're going to see these numbers escalate once again.
01:50 And this is mainly motivated on Sunday by what will be going on in the southwest in California.
01:55 And also, we're going to have some issues into Florida with some additional thunderstorms there.
