Galaxy - album Day without the sun 1976 (1998)

Only album released by Galaxy a group with a rather indefinable sound. Galaxy were from Jacksonville, Florida, their sound was a mix of heavy psych rock, progressive rock as well as some space rock with danceable rhythms and funk. Lots on synths, vaguely hard guitars, and strange though good vocals. Remarkable the 15 minutes of the soaring hypnotic space rock of the closing title-track.
