00:00 - It's no limit.
00:01 - It's no limit, you know,
00:02 it's just how high my confidence is,
00:05 that's where it's just going to keep flying.
00:06 I'm just going to keep letting it fly.
00:08 You know, and it was going in today, you know,
00:09 I feel like I caught my rhythm in the third quarter.
00:12 And so my confidence was high,
00:13 so I just keep letting it fly.
00:15 Yeah, I think it's just a game of runs, you know,
00:27 and they made a run in the first half.
00:29 They were playing great.
00:30 We were matching physicality,
00:32 we were defending as well as we know that we can.
00:34 In the third quarter,
00:35 he came out with a whole lot more energy,
00:37 a whole lot more physicality,
00:39 rebounding, defending like we know that we can.
00:41 And that's where we got our 20 point run, we went on.
00:44 And then in the fourth quarter,
00:45 you know, it was a little bit back and forth,
00:47 just based on how the game was going, so.
00:50 (silence)
00:52 - I don't know if it was a third quarter
01:04 or fourth quarter in a timeout.
01:06 Nades or Coach Todd asked like,
01:08 "Why do you think we just went on a run?"
01:10 And we all said,
01:10 "Because we're not turning the ball over anymore."
01:13 I think Auburn's defense is, it's a lot,
01:17 especially as a guard handling the ball.
01:19 But I think we just weren't used to it.
01:21 And obviously we have to get better with that.
01:22 And it can't take us a whole half to, you know,
01:25 get used to it.
01:25 But I think in the second half,
01:27 we kind of settled down and realized,
01:29 yeah, they're going to throw two, three people at you,
01:30 but you have to keep your composure.
01:32 (indistinct)
01:35 - Hard, she's a crush, hard.
01:38 I mean, she's got the pull up, the three,
01:40 she can attack, she can score at three levels.
01:42 So it's a hard guard and she had 27,
01:45 and I think she can get 27 any night.
01:48 (indistinct)
01:50 - Yeah, like I said, it came down to defense,
02:05 is really what it came to.
02:06 And it showed us how good of a defensive team we can be
02:09 when we actually put effort into it.
02:12 And I feel like at points in the season,
02:13 we weren't putting effort on the defensive end.
02:16 But now that we're putting the emphasis on it
02:18 and we're doing that, we can be really, really good.
02:20 And I feel like we can match any team
02:21 that's on the rest of our schedule.
02:23 - I mean, for us, it's just a confidence booster,
02:38 but I think for the NCAA tournament,
02:40 I mean, obviously they beat LSU.
02:41 And so if we can beat a team that beat LSU,
02:43 that kind of helps us.
02:45 And if we're in a tie with someone else,
02:47 obviously in the SEC,
02:48 but I just think today was a really good bounce back win
02:52 for us.
02:52 And I think that's what we've learned this year
02:54 is that we're kind of a bounce back team.
02:56 (indistinct)
02:59 - Yeah, it was hard.
03:07 This is the first time I've ever like had to sit out
03:09 during like mid season for an injury.
03:11 And so it was hard, it was really hard,
03:13 but I had teammates that supported me,
03:15 coaches that supported me and stuff.
03:17 And it was just like,
03:18 it gave me a different perspective of the game,
03:19 like sitting there and watching it
03:20 and seeing it from the sideline
03:21 and taking bits and pieces from what I see
03:24 when I'm not on the court
03:25 that maybe I don't see when I am on the court.
03:27 So it just gave me like a whole new perspective
03:29 and I feel like it helped me become a better player.
03:31 Yeah, it meant so much.
03:40 You know, we have a really great fan base here
03:42 and hearing them cheer for me,
03:43 like that just all the support.
03:45 And I feel like I have like the whole state of Arkansas
03:47 behind me and them supporting me.
03:49 And so it meant so much to me.
03:50 And like just having these fans here, it means so much.
03:54 - Definitely.
04:01 I think it was on a lot of our minds
04:03 and that same practice, we had a pretty long film session,
04:06 watched the whole second quarter of the Alabama game.
04:07 And we realized that's where we lost the game.
04:10 Throughout the rest of the game,
04:11 we played with them pretty well,
04:12 but the second quarter is what really killed us.
04:13 And so it was a big emphasis.
04:15 Like you have to play 40 minutes,
04:16 like no matter who you're playing,
04:18 like you can't take a quarter off and expect to win.
04:20 - I mean, kind of,
04:31 but we were expecting them to be aggressive.
04:33 But once again, like you're live playing them,
04:35 it's different than just, you know, seeing it on film.
04:37 Like you kind of have to feel it for yourself.
04:39 - Yeah, it's kind of like a shock factor,
04:41 like the physicality and how much energy
04:43 they have on defense.
04:44 And they're all over the place,
04:45 running around all over the place.
04:46 They're all like extremely fast.
04:48 You know, it's just, it's different.
04:49 It's hard to prep for, you know,
04:50 they're a team whose defense, it's hard,
04:52 it's really hard to prep for.
04:53 And so like, just, I think those three turnovers,
04:56 it was just like a shock factor.
04:57 And then we settled down.
04:58 (indistinct)
05:01 - Um, I just remember I was standing in the corner,
05:16 'cause they weren't coming off the shooters,
05:18 but I think it was a big one or something.
05:21 - It was like an M1.
05:22 All the numbers was an M1.
05:23 And that was a, yeah, that was a really big play for us.
05:25 'Cause it gave us the momentum for the rest of the game.
05:28 And that bucket, like, that mean they had the foul,
05:30 they had to do stuff to try to come back and stuff.
05:32 So it was a really big bucket.
05:34 And, you know, she's one of our guards on our team,
05:36 and she's really good with the ball, you know,
05:39 and we trust her a lot with the ball.
05:40 - And I think we were just confident in whoever,
05:42 out of the three of us, whoever hands the ball was in,
05:44 we were confident in that we're going to go get a bucket
05:46 for us or get fouled.
05:47 Like just something good was going to happen
05:49 if it was in one of the guards' hands.
