00:00 What's up everyone, Andrew Ler with Dirt Rider here and today we're going to tell
00:04 you the important things you need to know about the 2024 Husqvarna FC 350.
00:11 This bike was updated to an all-new platform last year so for 2024 Husqvarna
00:19 gave it some minor revisions. What are those? Updated suspension settings front
00:23 and rear, a new high grip seat cover, and new radiator shroud graphics. Retail
00:28 price of this model is $10,999. Alright with a mid-displacement full-size
00:33 four-stroke you know we've got to talk about the engine. This is a liquid-cooled
00:37 350cc four-stroke power plant with an 88mm bore, 57.5mm
00:43 stroke, and compression ratio of 14.6 to 1. Fuel and air is sent into the engine
00:49 through a Keon 44mm throttle body and the transmission is a 5-speed.
00:52 Par for the course for a four-stroke motocross bike. On the Dirt Rider Dyno
00:56 this mid-displacement four-stroke cranks out 51.5 horsepower at 12,700
01:02 rpm and 27.2 pound-feet of torque at 8,900 rpm. In terms of horsepower that's
01:08 almost as much as some 450cc motocross bikes. Very impressive. On our automotive
01:12 scales the 2024 Husqvarna FC 350 weighs 240 pounds wet which is actually just
01:18 one pound less than the FC 450. For front suspension Husqvarna specs a WP
01:23 Exact 48mm fork that's adjustable for air pressure, compression
01:27 damping, and rebound damping. And it's also important to note that it's 10mm
01:31 shorter than the KTM's fork. You can see here we have a WP Exact shock
01:35 and as you can see with this cover it's a bit like a door and it does take a bit
01:40 of finagling to remove. For clickers we have all the usual adjustments with low
01:44 speed compression here in white, high speed compression here in gray, and on
01:49 the bottom in red we have rebound and in case you haven't noticed all these are
01:53 adjustable by hand. And to match the front Husqvarna has a shock set at a
01:57 10mm lower setting as well. Major chassis components on this bike
02:01 include a double cradle chromoly steel frame while the subframe is made of a
02:05 combination of aluminum and polyamide. As far as ergonomics there's a lot of
02:09 positives to talk about. We have a nice flat seat that is indeed grippy thanks
02:13 to the new cover and radiator shrouds are nice and thin and we have a pro
02:17 tapered handlebar with a Husqvarna exclusive bend. Husqvarna's full-size
02:21 motocross bikes all come standard with Brembo hydraulic clutches. It has a nice
02:25 easy pull, a predictable engagement point, and a nice easy way to adjust it right
02:29 here which can be done by hand. A new feature from last year is this
02:33 combination switch right here. You have the engine start and kill switch right
02:36 here all in the same module. On the left side of the handlebar we have the dual
02:40 engine map switch, traction control, and quick shift. This is map one which is a
02:44 standard map. The white light will illuminate. Map two, a little more aggressive,
02:48 that'll be a green light. And then traction control on and off, quick shift
02:52 on and off as well. You won't find stronger dirt bike brakes than these. We
02:56 have a Brembo dual piston caliper up front along with a 260 millimeter disc.
03:00 And in the rear we have a Brembo single piston caliper that grabs onto a 220
03:05 millimeter disc. For wheels we have XL rims laced to CNC machine hubs and
03:10 they're both wrapped in Dunlop Geomax MX33 tires. So there you have it,
03:14 everything you need to know about the 2024 Husqvarna FC 350. Thank you all for
03:19 tuning in. If you enjoyed watching this video be sure to like, comment, and
