00:02 So guys, let's, obviously we've spoken a lot about Aberdeen.
00:06 They faced Celtic at the weekend, a game where Celtic dominated the first half.
00:12 The second half was a terrific game of football, I thought.
00:17 But yeah, I mean, if you're a Celtic fan,
00:19 there's already a lot of unrest amongst the support there.
00:24 And then that result hasn't done them any favours,
00:27 because Rangers are now a game in hand away,
00:31 potentially from overtaking them at the top of the league.
00:34 What's your immediate reaction, Ben?
00:36 Do you think, is there pressure mounting on Brendan Rodgers almost?
00:40 He seems to still have the backing of the fans,
00:42 because a lot of the anger at the moment seems to be directed at the board, I suppose.
00:46 Yeah, it's the board for me that the anger at Celtic's directed to.
00:50 I mean, realistically, I know it's an age-old question,
00:53 but if Brendan Rodgers was to go, who are you going to get
00:56 that's realistically going to be much of a better option at this stage?
00:59 I think you can argue, obviously, performances on the park haven't been as good.
01:02 They've certainly been certainly not as exciting as Andrew Poste called loose football.
01:06 I think that was a bit of an impossible task, to be honest, no matter who came in.
01:10 But you've seen the banner before kick-off as well, aimed at the board.
01:14 And when you look at their back four, I think, ending that game,
01:17 Alistair Johnson went off.
01:20 Then you had Stephen Welsh, Liam Scales and Anthony Ralston playing left-back.
01:26 And for the club that's been not shy in saying how many millions of pounds in the bank it's got,
01:32 and all these different things, and the reinforcement in January for the title push
01:36 was a striker on loan from Norwich who's struggling to get a game.
01:40 And to be fair, Nicholas couldn't look pretty good, I thought,
01:44 in the time he was on the park on Saturday.
01:47 But they've also not got the experience left-back that Brendan Rodgers wanted.
01:51 And he also has been going on and on about quality.
01:54 You need quality additions.
01:55 And I don't think it's ever a good thing or a good look for the board
01:58 when the manager and the spokesperson of the football club really is coming out
02:01 and saying that we need to be braver in the transfer market.
02:05 I don't think that's ever a good sign.
02:08 So, yeah, I think it's more on the board, I think.
02:10 And it'll be interesting to see the atmosphere in the next game at Parkhead
02:14 and how that mounts.
02:16 Obviously, they're going to be on the road, I think, now a few times.
02:18 It might be for the best.
02:20 Hibs on Wednesday is huge for them,
02:22 because that gap they had between Michael Beale's Rangers is now gone.
02:27 Rangers can catch that up with their games in hand.
02:30 So it's going to be really interesting to see the pressure probably changes now
02:34 in terms of they now need to properly fend Rangers off
02:37 as opposed to just maintaining themselves to try and win the league.
