00:00 Yeah, throughout my final season of college, it was that moment of me that kind of hit me.
00:04 That's my last hurrah in college.
00:07 So I wanted to make the most of it.
00:09 I wanted to leave Arizona in a good place.
00:12 Growing up, Arizona was one of my dream colleges.
00:16 So it was kind of a full circle that I wanted to leave Arizona in a good place
00:21 and leave Tucson full of joy and happiness
00:26 and what's been accomplished over there.
00:28 So definitely that.
00:30 Yeah.
00:31 Something I personally watch, I watch your film quite a bit.
00:35 There are some receivers I kind of notice in your game a little bit.
00:39 Who are some guys you think you study from in terms of releases,
00:42 like take aspects of their game and put into yours?
00:46 When it comes to releases, I watch Devontae Adams a lot.
00:48 A lot, a lot.
00:50 Besides him, I watch Tarr Lockett.
00:52 Besides Tarr Lockett, within his past year, I watch Zane Flowers, too.
00:56 When it comes to film study, what do you look for in a cornerback's tendencies
01:00 that tell you, okay, he might expect an inside release here at this specific moment?
01:08 Just talk to me about what you kind of see.
01:10 I look at DB's leverage, too.
01:12 When they come up to press me, see what kind of--what they're trying to take away from me
01:16 and then just try to move them off their landmark to get them uncomfortable.
01:19 And then also at the same time, when my film study, when I look at DB's,
01:22 I see what kind of DB they are, if they're aggressive or if they're a motor
01:25 or a reset kind of person, if they shoot hands, not shoot hands, and how they play the ball.
01:31 Awesome.
01:33 Mike Tomlin's very hands-on when it comes to the whole senior bowl
01:38 and just the senior bowl and the process.
01:41 Have you ever gotten to talk to Tomlin during the practices?
01:44 Did he ever say anything to you?
01:47 I haven't talked so much at practices,
01:50 but I did have a conversation with him yesterday during an interview that I had with the Steelers.
01:56 And that was a pretty very cool moment that I actually embraced and I took in
02:01 and definitely something I'm going to cherish and take his word
02:04 and continue to go about my day-to-day life and continue to grind and stay in the game
02:09 and hopefully make my dream come true.
02:11 One last question.
02:12 Who is the best corner you went up against in college?
02:15 Jabbar Muhammad. He was pretty good.
02:18 I definitely get that one.
02:19 Thank you so much for your time, Jake.
