The 2024 Nissan Frontier gets even more rad with the introduction of the retro yet modern Hardbody Edition, while a new SL grade brings together numerous sought-after premium features. It all adds up to another strong chapter in Frontier's six-plus decades of proven leadership as the right-sized pickup for work in the city or adventures in the great outdoors.

The design of Frontier's new Hardbody Edition package will be immediately familiar to anyone who remembers the original Nissan Hardbody truck of the 1980s. The new edition artfully revives the styling cues that made Hardbody an icon nearly four decades ago.

The Hardbody Edition starts with the well-equipped Crew Cab SV 4x4 and features three-spoke, heritage-styled 17-inch alloy wheels that closely replicate the look of those on the original truck, shod in all-terrain tires. An aluminum skid plate, black over-fenders, a black side rail, mud flaps and a bed-mounted sport bar contribute to the retro-rugged look. Just like its '80s namesake, the Hardbody Edition wears black-painted bumpers, mirrors, door handles and grille. Completing the package, the truck wears black graphics that deliver throwback cool, with a large "4x4" logo on the front doors and a tailgate graphic that features a cut-out "Nissan" logo, replacing the truck's typical Nissan tailgate emblem.
