Zhou Daguan (1266-1346) was a Chinese diplomat who visited The Khmer kingdom in 1296-1297. On his return, he published a book entitled "The Customs of Cambodia", which is today the best source for information about what Angkor Wat might have been in its hay day.

This short audio documentary is built on quotations from his book. It was made by me, Michael Henrik Wynn, editor of Historyradio.org. The live stream of the Historyradio.org 24/7 literary net radio stream is available online at the website, or via phone apps.
