What is your favourite thing about Newcastle?

We've been asking members of the public in Newcastle what their favourite thing about the city is.

00:07 Erm, the quayside. Love the market on a Sunday and the regeneration down there is lovely.

00:14 Well, the city centre shopping, Northumberland Street, and of course the people are lovely

00:19 people, which makes a house, so that's why I like it.

00:22 And Pat, what about you?

00:23 It's a party city, and there's thousands of young kids coming to the town.

00:29 It's a good shopping centre, and easy to get to.

00:34 The people and the city, the culture, very friendly. Football team.

00:46 Right, well, I've come here really to find out where my husband used to live, and it's

00:52 quite extraordinary, yes. So yeah, it's quite nice, it's very nice.
