00:00 >> Yeah, one more thing about the quarterbacks,
00:02 what are your initial impressions of Air and Julian coming in?
00:05 What have you seen from them?
00:06 What kind of quarterbacks do you think they are?
00:07 >> Yeah, they're just getting started.
00:09 It used to be that when you came in at mid year, it was a big,
00:14 a significant, the fact that you're coming in at mid year now,
00:19 it's a little bit more normal.
00:20 Guys are planning their sophomore, junior years around graduating at mid year.
00:26 And it allows everybody an opportunity as they come in the summer to not be
00:30 a freshman anymore.
00:32 So everything that's going on is new.
00:34 And so they're gonna have to embrace everything that's going on new.
00:37 And I think that's hard.
00:39 You got Julian is coming in from California, you have Air coming in from
00:44 Georgia, and when everything's new, there's an adjustment phase.
00:48 And that's like that for every freshman.
00:49 And so every day that goes by, they're getting more and
00:52 more comfortable here and getting their feet underneath them.
00:55 They're gonna have to learn the offense here and get going on the field.
00:57 But it's great when you have, like Lincoln didn't go through that last year.
01:01 And we knew that.
01:02 Lincoln was a tremendous basketball player and a tremendous baseball player.
01:05 And we sat down with the family and
01:06 said, we're gonna be a little bit behind here if we come in during the summer.
01:10 And we knew that.
01:10 So that was part of the agreement.
01:11 But we knew that he was gonna be a little behind.
01:14 I feel like with these guys coming in now, they'll be further ahead and
01:17 be able to make more of an impact in the fall.
