00:00 So this piece here, this is another Dave Granny piece.
00:02 It is a Dave Granny piece, yeah.
00:04 And the carpet is sort of reminiscent
00:07 from what used to be on band stages
00:09 covered with gas tape and cigarette burns.
00:11 But this actual carpet is a remnant
00:13 from the old Lucky Country Hotel
00:15 that where I had a studio for 18 years.
00:18 So I love this filthy old carpet so much,
00:21 I brought some back to the studio with me.
00:23 I've used it in a few different artworks now.
00:25 But yeah, it's great.
00:27 This is 2000, this painting.
00:29 So yeah, 23 years old now.
00:31 Great to see it again.
00:32 - So music's been interwoven in your work
00:35 and your mind since way back.
00:37 - Yeah, absolutely. - From the beginning.
00:38 - Yeah, absolutely. - I mean, yeah.
00:39 - Yeah, no, music's been a big part
00:40 of the stuff that I make, for sure.
00:43 - You're still a fan of Dave Granny?
00:44 - I am, I am.
00:45 I saw him last year at that festival outside Greta.
00:50 - Dumball. - Dumball, yeah.
00:52 - Dumball, thank you. - Yeah, up in Dashville.
00:53 - Yeah, Dashville, that's the one, yeah.
00:55 It was the opening night with the 30 years
00:57 of the night at the Wolverine.
01:00 It was fantastic, so great.
01:02 It's a great performer, so good.
