Graham Dunlop, 52, went to collect the battered leather chair he bought from a woman online - who said he could have it for free if he donated to Alzheimer’s Research UK.

00:03 I found out I'd won when I got a call from Omaze
00:22 on Friday afternoon.
00:24 And half an hour later, the Omaze entourage
00:27 ended up at my front door.
00:29 I didn't think for a moment I'd won something like this.
00:32 I did what every British person would do in this situation.
00:35 I popped a kettle on and had a cup of tea.
00:38 Funny story why I entered.
00:40 I was looking for an armchair, and I picked it up from a woman.
00:43 She refused to take any money for it,
00:44 but she did ask that I make a donation
00:47 to Alzheimer's Research.
00:48 Her husband had passed away recently.
00:50 So I made a direct donation.
00:52 And then when I saw that Omaze were supporting Alzheimer's
00:55 Research, I took a punt and I bought a ticket.
00:58 My wife didn't like the chair at first,
01:00 but safe to say she loves it now.
01:02 It feels so surreal.
01:03 Even if I jumped in that pool, I don't think it would sink in.
01:06 It's the best feeling in the world.
01:09 This villa is stunning.
01:11 The space inside, I'm looking forward
01:13 to rustling up some tapas in the fantastic kitchen.
01:17 I'll never get bored of these views.
01:19 And not only do I own this fantastic villa,
01:21 I've also got a quarter of a million pounds.
01:24 It's incredible.

01:29 Raising 3.1 million pounds has completely
01:34 surpassed our expectations.
01:36 The funds raised by this latest partnership with Omaze
01:39 will support Alzheimer's Research UK's clinical
01:41 accelerator program.
01:42 Alzheimer's Research UK is the UK's leading dementia research
01:45 charity, and we exist for a cure.
01:48 Almost 1 million people in the UK
01:50 are living with dementia, a condition
01:52 that robs people of their memories, their connections,
01:54 and their lives.
01:56 Our partnership with Omaze not only
01:57 raised an unbelievable amount of money for Alzheimer's Research
02:00 UK, but increased awareness of the need
02:02 to find a cure for dementia.
02:04 We're absolutely delighted that this Omaze super draw
02:07 has raised such a huge amount of money for Alzheimer's Research
02:10 UK.
02:11 This means that the Omaze community
02:13 has now raised over 31 million pounds
02:16 for good causes in the UK.
02:18 I've never won anything before, but it
02:20 was worth waiting 50-odd years to bag this place.
