The House vote to impeach Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas for his immigration policies failed on Tuesday night. California Republican Rep. Tom McClintock said he opposed the impeachment because it threatened to lower the standard and turn impeachment into a "constant fixture" in divided governments.
