In this sci-fi thriller, a man and woman must fend off a killer they can't see. Sebastian Caine (Kevin Bacon) is a scientist who works with a covert military research team led by Dr. Kramer (William Devane) to develop new intelligence technology. Sebastian has been working with his colleagues Linda McKay (Elisabeth Shue) and Matt Kensington (Josh Brolin) to create a serum that renders individuals invisible. The formula is new and unstable, but after a dangerous but successful test on an ape, an impatient Sebastian, pushed by Kramer, chooses to try it on himself. It works, but nobody counted on the side.
