00:00 Daryl Dekay and you know a fourth potentially fourth big setback we don't
00:05 know an awful lot about it at the moment as Carlos Corbijn has confirmed that
00:08 they're gonna be awaiting for scan results and it's too early to tell and
00:11 there needs to be patience but I asked fans about this outside Coxley and fans
00:14 have you know understandably questioned what the future holds for Daryl Dekay
00:18 now it's not as easy as you know people on social media going you know selling
00:23 get rid of him you know that's not the case you know that's not gonna happen
00:26 but you just can't help but catch a break you saw how much it means to
00:31 Daryl Dekay and I think the response from the majority of people and from
00:35 what we know you know people we know within the inner sanctums of Albion and
00:38 how how well they think of Daryl Dekay you know you just I could scarcely
00:42 believe that it was another serious one you know I didn't think it was to start
00:46 with and then it's sort of I have to say I did by it was no more serious but you
00:50 know you can't help but feel for him and there's there's not an awful lot we can
00:53 really say on it at the moment because we haven't got many details but you know
00:56 it's it's another stroke of bad luck. It's gutting Johnny it's so sad to be
01:01 honest it's it's really sad and I look Albion fans with their passion at Albion
01:07 heads on are thinking about we need to win games we need to get in the top six
01:10 and it's all true and right of course it is and Dekay can score goals and we're all
01:15 frustrated in that we want to see him fit and play but I mean by the time we
01:21 had that second injury in the summer of Bruce before the start of the season you're
01:24 thinking off two muscle problems in the first six months but to have that
01:29 so we've had it confirmed this is Achilles problem again it's the Achilles
01:34 area he's hurt again. Quotes he said it felt similar to Stoke what happened in
01:40 Aintswood. Obviously I think Carlos is trying to you know trying to get Dekay to be patient but you know we send off the pushes to him.
01:49 Yeah we do absolutely it's the other leg isn't it that's worth highlighting that
01:52 the Achilles injured in Stoke out for eight or nine months it's the other one
01:58 I'm not a medical expert I don't know if another Achilles is more likely after a
02:02 first one you know even on the other leg I don't know but as soon as he went down
02:06 it was an innocuous sort of thing I noticed he went down and sort of put
02:12 his arms up to the ref as if to say that was a foul like and nothing was given it
02:16 was a nothing incident really and then I just noticed him sort of slump on his
02:20 backside and his head drop. My heart sunk a bit really. He's cutting and it's
02:25 overshadowed look despite despite Ipswich going a 93rd minute equaliser
02:30 which was very hard to take given I think how well Albin defended overall
02:36 resilience to a man I mean they were blocking everything weren't they
02:40 throwing themselves on everything Ipswich I don't think had created much
02:43 overall so despite the heartbreak of that Amari Hutchinson goal you know a
02:48 player obviously Carlos Corfren fancied at Albin over the years despite that the
02:53 overriding emotion for me right now and I think probably most is the DK news we
02:59 don't know obviously we would be speculating but obviously if the injury
03:01 is as bad as the last one you know you obviously won't feature again this
03:05 season but we have to wait on that it's gut-wrenching for him but Albin's
03:10 prospects I think just a real blow and thoughts as you said rightly with him
