00:00 So I went down the research rabbit hole to try and figure out why people that wear Echo golf shoes
00:04 are so obsessed with them. And I think I might have figured out why. First of all,
00:08 their attention to detail is insane. Echo is one of the few shoe manufacturers in the world that
00:13 owns and operates every single step of the shoemaking process, including tanning the
00:18 leather for each shoe they make. In fact, they became so good at making leather that they supply
00:22 materials for luxury fashion brands, sports equipment makers, and auto manufacturers.
00:27 But to me, what sets them apart from all the rest? They developed this system called the
00:31 direct injection process, which means once the upper portion of the shoe is constructed,
00:36 it's placed into a mold which injects the material for the sole, which permanently
00:40 bonds it directly to the shoe, making the whole thing one single unified piece. Unlike most shoes
00:45 where the top and bottom are made separately and then glued or sewn together. This whole process
00:50 makes the Echo shoe way more durable and a whole lot more comfortable to wear, which probably
00:54 explains why 90% of Echo customers buy a second pair.
