00:00 Hi guys, Emily Mann here, your Taylor Swift correspondent for 2024 as we head
00:05 into Taylor's arrival in Australia for the ERA's tour. What I want to do today is
00:09 just give you guys a quick rundown on what crowd chants you can expect to hear
00:14 at the concert and you can chant along with everyone as well. So the first one
00:18 is the Bridge of Cruel Summer. Now this isn't so much a chant, it's just singing
00:22 the lyrics, but it is a song that we have been waiting four years to see live.
00:26 Critics have called it the best bridge ever written. It is the second song of
00:30 the night and Taylor will tell you that you need to scream it. So when the time
00:35 comes, belt the bridge as hard as you can.
00:40 I'm just screaming. You ready? Go!
00:45 Crowd chant number two and this one does have a little bit of swearing in it, but
01:01 when Taylor sings the intro to Delicate, she'll finish with the line "and you can
01:05 make me a drink". That is your cue to go one, two, three, let's go and then she'll
01:11 dive into the first verse of the song.
01:14 Okay guys, another one that is a little bit salty, but I absolutely encourage you
01:21 to like rage scream this one. It is from the song All Too Well. It is probably one
01:27 of her most popular songs and it is the most iconic line and the line is
01:32 "patriarchy". When Taylor sings this, you have to scream it as well. Like feminists,
01:37 it is your time to shine.
01:40 Hi guys, Emily Mann here, your Taylor Swift correspondent for 2024 as we head
01:55 into Taylor's arrival in Australia for the ERA's tour. Okay, chant number four
01:59 that you need to know is during Bejewelled when Taylor sings "and by the
02:03 way". That is your cue to say "where are you going Taylor?" and her response will
02:08 be "I'm going out tonight".
02:12 Okay, towards the end of the concert Taylor's gonna perform her hit song from
02:20 the last year which is Antihero off the Midnight's album. What you need to listen
02:24 for is when Taylor sings "like some kind of congressman". That's your cue in the
02:29 break to say "Taylor, you'll be fine". Then she'll jump into the chorus.
02:34 Okay, lucky last number six and this is the newest addition to the crowd chants
02:48 and it was introduced by Taylor herself when she was singing Karma. She changed
02:52 the line from "guy on the screen" to "guy on the chiefs" and that of course is in
02:57 reference to her boyfriend Travis Kelsey who is tight end for the Kansas City
03:01 Chiefs. So when Taylor sings Karma you need to change the line as well and
03:06 scream it as loud as you can and with any luck Travis might be in Australia
03:09 for the concerts too.
03:13 Karma is the guy on the chiefs.
