00:25 Elle King took to the stage at the Grand Ole Opry back in January to celebrate the country
00:29 icon's 78th birthday.
00:31 In videos shared across social media, the Grammy-winning singer can be seen singing
00:35 Dolly's 2001 hit "Marry Me."
00:38 During the performance, the exes and ostentatious appears to mix up the words to the song, telling
00:43 the crowd, "Don't tell Dolly," adding, "Holy s---, I swear if any of you guys tell
00:47 Dolly."
00:48 She then continues, "I'm not even gonna f---ing lie.
00:49 Y'all bought tickets for this s---.
00:51 You ain't getting your money back."
00:52 Before exclaiming, "I'll tell you one thing more.

00:57 After she received backlash online for her behavior, the Grand Ole Opry issued an apology

01:05 On ex-formerly Twitter, the Nashville venue writes, "We deeply regret and apologize
01:09 for the language that was used during last night's second Opry performance."
01:13 Some fans on ex also noted their concern for the singer, who opened up in a 2019 interview
01:18 with ABC News about her substance abuse battle.
