00:00 Yeah.
00:01 And, uh, I've heard a rumor that Washington, because Boris has done so many deals with
00:09 them that he might be going there because, uh, the Yankees offered him, uh, the same
00:14 kind of money that they wrote on, right.
00:18 It's basically the same amount of money and that never took bait, right.
00:23 They never hooked him.
00:25 So is it true?
00:26 Do you believe that Boris might flip him to the Nationals?
00:30 I mean, I agree with you about the Royals.
00:32 I agree with you about the Reds.
00:34 Uh, I agree that the Royals have spent a lot of money, but they still don't have a guy
00:38 like that.
00:40 And I'm sorry for my money walking those guys.
00:44 I think Snell's better.
00:45 And then do you think he could end up with the Nationals since they have nothing on their
00:49 team?
00:50 What do they have?
00:51 They're garbage.
00:52 I mean, they have nothing.
00:53 I actually think we just, uh, we, we backdoored our way into the point though, which is that
00:59 one man, one, Mr. Scott Boris kind of controls major league baseball free agency.
01:05 The biggest free agents by and large are attached to him as an agent.
01:10 No team wants to make Scott Boris mad.
01:13 I don't really think teams enjoy doing business with Scott Boris that much.
01:16 You know what I mean?
01:17 Can you imagine doing business with a guy who is that powerful?
01:20 Like I, I, I would definitely grind my gears if I was the GM of any of these teams.
01:25 And if Boris does want, you know, he's like, all right, I'm going to curry favor with the
01:30 Washington Nationals.
01:31 I'm going to get Blake Snell to sign a deal with them there.
01:34 And that in turn is going to allow me to use the Nationals at this spot or that spot.
01:39 And I'll be able to call on the favor for them, you know, in, in 2026 for this guy,
01:45 like it, you know, he's kind of got this Machiavellian operation where he gets guys where they want
01:50 to go.
01:51 And then obviously, you know, he is going to end up, you know, enriching himself via
01:54 all of these moves.
01:55 I would find it very bizarre if Blake Snell ended up being a Washington National because
01:59 what's the point?
02:00 Like the defending NL Cy Young, what, what, why would he want to be a Washington National?
02:05 Like shouldn't Blake, shouldn't Blake Snell just be a Dodger?
02:08 I mean, isn't that like, isn't that kind of the thing?
02:10 Like, shouldn't he just be a Dodger?
02:13 Well, I think he should be a Dodger, except that they're already in the hole till 2095
02:20 paying off Ohtani and their other free agent acquisitions, Yamamoto.
02:26 I mean, they got everybody.
02:27 So I don't see how they can keep doing deals that they pay off in the future.
