00:00 "I'm really happy obviously with the performance, with the results, with the individual and
00:08 collective contribution of every single player that's been very, very good. The fact that
00:16 the team looked like they wanted more, you know, they weren't satisfied, they wanted
00:19 more, they wanted to score more, they didn't want to concede a goal. I'm really pleased
00:23 to hit that consistency."
00:25 Is it more the domination of the games that's pleasing you?
00:35 "Yes, obviously we want to dominate the game and play the opponents half as much as possible.
00:39 I think the threat, the purpose, the activity and the connections of the players at the
00:45 moment is flowing and they really want it. We have momentum now and we have to maintain
00:51 it. Now we leave the Premier League, we go to Porto, which we know is going to be a really,
00:57 really tough environment to play against and just prepare well to go again and be ourselves."
01:03 You mentioned Florentino, there's not a better player in the league, arguably not a better
01:06 player, but last year he was fantastic. He's playing a slightly different role than he
01:10 did last season, but he still seems to have a massive impact on the team. What can you
01:13 say about him?"
01:14 "Yes, I think confidence-wise he's in a really good moment. I think physically as well, the
01:19 way he applied himself, defending, attacking, the connection and the movement he gave us
01:25 in that right-hand side is really good. They hit him firm."
01:29 How important is it that when you're dominating games now you're managing to kill it and really
01:37 add to the goal difference? For a while you were dominating but not quite killing the
01:42 game off early.
01:43 "Yes, we are showing a high efficiency at the moment in front of goal and you see especially
01:48 the purpose when we are playing. We always want to play forward and be a threat and the
01:54 players up front feel really connected at the moment. That's a different story because
01:59 it gives us much more tranquillity, especially to finish the games off."
02:04 You said tranquillity, in a title race where the stress is there for the players, how important
02:09 is it that the whole game we're not in it for 90 minutes?
02:14 "We cannot think about that. We have to think about playing with that energy, with that
02:17 enthusiasm and aggression in every game. Still so far the only thing is to maintain this
02:23 momentum to end the right to win games and the focus is there. What is coming afterwards
02:28 we will see."
02:29 The Caglios with second goal and another right foot finish is becoming a bit of a trademark.
02:34 Did you do a lot of work with it over the last few weeks or months to make it a bit
02:37 more?
02:38 "Yes, we tried our players to be unpredictable and I'm sure that the opponents are looking
02:43 at us a lot and we have to find ways to create problems. He has got this ability and he trains
02:49 a lot in many different situations when he's in and around the box and today he had two
02:55 brilliant finishes again."
02:56 Does this motivate Saka to show that he's on that level too?
03:05 "I have no clue. I've got a question for him but I don't think Bukayo needs much motivation."
03:11 Is it unusual to have someone at that maturity, that young, like a senior player?
03:28 "Yes, we don't really see it really and especially forward players, wingers with that level of
03:34 consistency and numbers at his age is something really strange to find but it's not a coincidence,
03:40 that's for sure. When you look at him every single day, the way he trains, the way he
03:43 applies himself, the qualities that he has and he can do more."
03:47 When Martin scored the first goal, he seemed very quiet, he cut his ears. Do you think
03:57 some of the criticism that he had for over-celebrating against Liverpool, do you think that played
04:06 a factor, maybe he's a bit more business-like after hearing that?
04:10 "I don't know. I didn't notice that he made that gesture but he was really happy in the
04:16 dressing room, the way he played today. Again, I think he was exceptional and I don't think
04:21 he needs to send any message. He needs to be himself and he needs to do what he feels
04:25 and if he feels to do something, do it and then you deal with the consequences because
04:29 some people are going to like it and some people they won't. But we really like him."
04:34 Arsenal can't seem to stop scoring at the moment, even at five-nil, like you said, they
04:40 were pressing for the goals at the end as well. Is that indicating just how hungry Arsenal
04:44 are this season after finishing fourth in such a short last season?
04:47 "Yes, we do want more and we know how important the goal difference is and to be up there.
04:53 Every play that you bring, whether it's one minute, 30 minutes, the contribution that
04:57 they are willing to give to the team is really positive and let's keep doing it."
05:02 Thank you.
05:04 Thanks.
05:06 Thanks.
