Nebula Has Features That Resemble A 'Smiling Cat' In VLT Survey Telescope View
The Sh2-284 nebula has been imaged VLT Survey Telescope. The "region of dust and gas that’s teeming with young stars, located some 15 000 light-years away from Earth," according to the European Southern Observatory.
