00:00 All right, Emily, I have to ask you this,
00:01 because Disney seems to be in the reboot era.
00:04 And also, did you see the Hannah Montana clip going viral
00:07 since Miley has won her Record of the Year Grammy?
00:09 Here you go, check it out.
00:11 Thank you, Grammy voters.
00:14 Record of the year.
00:15 I can't believe it. I had nothing prepared.
00:18 The amount of people that have sent me that,
00:20 I watched the recap of the Grammys,
00:21 but I wasn't able to watch it live,
00:22 so I kind of didn't really know what was going on
00:23 or why so many people were sending me that.
00:25 She won the Record of the Year,
00:26 which is what Hannah Montana kind of manifested for herself.
00:29 So I'm involved in that, right?
00:31 I think you're responsible.
00:33 But really though, would you ever be down
00:36 for a Hannah Montana reboot,
00:37 knowing that there is no shelf life for a show like that?
00:40 I don't know if my knees can take another
00:42 five years of a sitcom.
00:44 I don't know, I think I'm too old now.
00:46 A lot of work, isn't it?
00:46 Nah, I love those guys.
00:48 I just talked to Mitchell yesterday, actually.
00:49 So yeah, we all still stay in contact,
00:52 and I'm so proud of her.
00:53 Yeah, who knows? I don't know.
00:55 We're busy, okay?
00:56 You are busy.
00:57 You think I'm not all in, but I am.
00:59 Let's get married.
01:00 Congratulations, 'cause this is the final season
01:03 of "Young Sheldon," which I have to imagine
01:05 is bittersweet for you, yeah?
01:07 How does it feel?
01:08 It's definitely bittersweet for me,
01:09 and I've only been here a few years.
01:10 I mean, you guys have been here a lot longer than me,
01:13 so I feel very lucky to be here,
01:14 but I also am just as sad that it's ending.
01:17 'Cause you're like, "I want to go seven years."
01:18 Exactly, yeah.
01:20 "I want to do seven years."
01:21 He's got baby pictures all over the set.
01:22 There's none of me.
01:24 People have grown up on this set, which is wild.
01:26 All right, what is going on?
01:27 What do you think's going on?
01:29 You mean Sheldon?
01:32 I can't be in the same school as him.
01:33 How emotional has it been to know
01:34 that this is kind of like the end of it?
01:35 Well, I keep telling everybody I'm gonna try
01:38 to hold it in and not cry, but it'll probably come to that.
01:41 It'll probably fall apart.
01:42 That's what Ian said, though.
01:43 Ian said he was gonna cry.
01:44 Well, he said he hasn't cried yet,
01:46 but he knows that come that last day on set,
01:48 it's gonna be emotional.
01:49 Oh, I think everybody's gonna be emotional.
01:51 Well, let me ask you this, then, Montana.
01:53 Like, what will you miss most about working on the show
01:55 with these people?
01:56 You, right?
01:57 (laughing)
01:59 I think just being able to work with such amazing people.
02:02 I mean, I've never been on many sets,
02:05 'cause this is really just about my first thing,
02:07 but everybody that I've talked to, they're like,
02:10 "You can't get no better than this."
02:12 I don't know if he knows how lucky he is.
02:13 Yeah, no, that's what I'm saying.
02:14 This is the greatest job in Hollywood.
02:16 This is the greatest job in Hollywood.
02:17 Everybody's very nice, yeah.
02:19 I'm thankful, I'm thankful for the opportunity.
02:21 I love it.
02:22 Now, knowing that this is the last season,
02:24 are there things on set that you have an eye on
02:26 that you might wanna swipe as a memento?
02:28 I've been looking.
02:28 We both secretly were like, "Hey, did you see that thing?"
02:31 There's a bunch of old records back there.
02:34 I've got my eye on an ELO record.
02:35 Okay, I hear there's a line for that.
02:36 There's a line for the ELO record.
02:38 I don't think I'm first,
02:39 but I'm gonna try and scooch my way up.
02:41 You know what, there's a nice large stack.
02:42 I say take one now.
02:44 As well.
02:45 The thing is, we don't know if the sleeve
02:47 matches the record.
02:48 Good point, good point, good point.
02:49 So I think I'm gonna go in there and maybe flip 'em around.
02:51 Okay, there's a lot of framed photos.
02:53 Do you have your eyes on any of the pictures
02:54 of the family or anything?
02:55 No, I was thinking about getting something
02:56 from the gambling room.
02:58 Okay.
02:59 Oh.
03:00 Yeah, that's what I was like, "Let's see."
03:00 Do those machines work?
03:01 Probably not.
03:02 Okay.
03:03 But they're vintage and they look good in your house.
03:05 Yeah, I think it's time to grab 'em.
03:07 What do you guys hope the legacy of this series will be?
03:09 Especially someone like you, you joined this family.
03:13 What will people remember most, do you think?
03:15 Ooh, this accent.
03:16 (laughing)
03:17 I think, I don't know.
03:19 I feel grateful that I got to come in at a time
03:22 where, I don't know, '90s were a powerful time for women
03:25 and Mandy's a staunch feminist and she sticks up for herself.
03:28 I think it's such a powerful character for me
03:30 and that's what I'm taking away from it,
03:31 that I got to represent something like that.
03:33 What do you hope the legacy of this show will be?
03:35 Man, I just, I don't think it'll ever go away.
03:38 I think it'll always be
03:39 and I think everybody will always enjoy it.
03:40 It'll always be a comfort, I think.
03:42 I think so too.
03:43 I love it.
03:43 (upbeat music)
03:46 (chimes ringing)
03:49 [BLANK_AUDIO]
