00:00 Come on, you'll be back.
00:02 No, I won't.
00:04 I love you.
00:06 No, you don't.
00:08 Goodbye, Pisces.
00:10 And Virgo.
00:11 And Cancer. She's running out of signs.
00:13 You like Leos?
00:15 How do you feel about younger men?
00:17 Boundaries, bro.
00:19 Jennifer Lopez's "This Is Me Now,"
00:21 a love story filled with many famous faces,
00:25 including her hubby Ben Affleck,
00:27 who's nearly unrecognizable.
00:29 We have no love for each other.
00:31 We have no love for ourselves.
00:33 To be able to get them in there,
00:35 they were all very special,
00:36 heartful, spiritual people that I chose,
00:39 who were all very, very different.
00:41 You know? Super funny.
00:42 So good.
00:43 The musical experience is all about
00:45 J.Lo's journey to self-love.
00:47 I want to be in love.
00:49 But I learned the hard way.
00:55 Not all love stories have a happy ending.
00:58 Jen recruiting her real-life love, Ben,
01:01 to help tell the story.
01:03 The guy on the motorcycle? That's him.
01:05 So when I was a little girl,
01:08 whenever someone asked me what I wanted to be
01:10 when I grew up,
01:13 my answer was always,
01:16 "In love."
01:18 Ben makes another cameo, but not as himself.
01:21 He's disguised as fictional TV personality Rex Stone.
01:25 In 2012, the number one question people asked
01:28 was, "What is love as of today?"
01:31 The cameos continue as Fat Joe takes on the role
01:34 as J.Lo's therapist.
01:36 So that's when the dream started, you think?
01:38 With that heartbreak?
01:40 Yeah.
01:41 And her many grooms, played by Tony Bellissimo,
01:44 Derek Hough, and Trevor Jackson,
01:46 to help represent her previous marriages.
01:49 Can't you just be happy?
01:51 I just, I feel like, um...
01:54 I have another thing in our house.
01:57 A piece of art in your collection.
01:59 It's bullsh*t.
02:00 Okay, this is who I am.
02:02 And you treat me like sh*t.
02:04 I mean, I pretty much just lived out a fantasy of mine,
02:07 so it was great.
02:09 I wanted to tell that part of the story.
02:11 The real story, in a way,
02:13 but not my autobiographical story,
02:16 more like a meta, where everything,
02:18 things that I had gone through had inspired it.
02:20 Also included in the meta story,
02:22 a zodiac council.
02:24 Astrological signs represented by a star-studded cast.
02:28 Jane Fonda, Trevor Noah,
02:30 Kim Petras, Post Malone,
02:32 Kiki Palmer, Sofia Vergara,
02:34 Jennifer Lewis, Jay Shetty,
02:36 and Neil deGrasse Tyson.
02:38 What's with her and all the bad boys?
02:40 Could be daddy issues.
02:42 I think I can see my father's house from here.
02:45 It's funny, the zodiacs were really meant to
02:48 kind of represent the people in our lives
02:51 who are always commenting, whether your mom
02:53 or your friends or your aunts
02:55 or your co-workers or your whatever.
02:57 And it was a very kind of fun way to do that.
03:01 And I was lucky to get all of the people that
03:04 I really loved their philosophies on life
03:07 and love and their music and everything.
03:09 And get this, as the zodiacs watch
03:12 one of her relationships crumble,
03:14 this famous Bravo show got a special nod.
03:18 Oh, I hate that I can't stop watching.
03:20 It's like a Vanderpump Rules marathon
03:22 and it's four in the morning and I stop judging them
03:25 and I start judging myself.
03:27 Love that show.
03:28 The Reunion?
03:30 Oh, messy.
03:31 That was not cute.
03:32 James and Lala can't talk because they [bleep]
03:36 and they kept it a secret until--
03:38 I wasn't your best friend!
03:40 I loved how much you were able to
03:42 laugh at yourself, poke fun at your past,
03:45 even the media scrutiny of the past,
03:47 which feels like almost cathartic.
03:49 Was it for you?
03:50 It was, but it was also a very vulnerable place
03:53 to be all the time, you know?
03:55 It's like half the time I was thinking,
03:57 like, this is amazing, I'm so excited
03:59 that I'm doing this, and then half of the time
04:01 I was like, why are you doing this?
04:03 You are so crazy.
04:05 After many ups and downs, Jennifer reaches
04:07 her happily ever after by loving herself.
04:11 You know, I remember thinking,
04:13 I have these amazing friends,
04:15 this incredible life, you know?
04:19 And I'm good on my own.
04:22 I'm happy.
04:23 While she stands alone at the end,
04:25 it's not the case in real life,
04:27 as it's her own love story with Ben
04:29 that inspired the musical experience
04:31 and her accompanying album, This Is Me Now.
04:35 When Ben and I got back together,
04:37 it was just like, I want to make music again,
04:39 I want to get back in the studio.
04:40 I was very, very inspired,
04:42 and when I think about, I was like,
04:44 the same way This Is Me then captured
04:46 that moment in time without me realizing it,
04:48 the first time we kind of fell in love,
04:50 this was something a little bit more evolved
04:52 and healed and, I don't know, kind of magical.
04:55 And so I wanted to do something special
04:57 to go along with it.
