00:00 Mokhzani Mahadir, the son of former Prime Minister Dr. Mahadir Mohamad, has been given

00:08 a one-month extension to declare his assets by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission.

00:14 Mokhzani was initially given 30 days from January 17th to declare his assets.

00:19 On February 8th, Mokhzani and his brother Mirzaan reminded MACC that they had 30 days

00:25 to comply with the Anti-Craft Agency's order for them to declare their assets.

00:30 The duo said they were in the midst of collating 43 years' worth of information, which they

00:35 said was an "impossible endeavor" and pleaded for patience.

00:39 They said the MACC requested a list of assets dating back to 1981, the year Mahadir became

00:45 Prime Minister for the first time.

00:48 Their plea was in response to Azam stating that they had yet to submit their asset declarations

00:53 despite being served notices.

00:55 On February 16th, it was reported that Mirzaan was given a 30-day extension after the businessman
