What to expect from Formula 1 testing

With F1 testing ahead of the 2024 season now underway in Bahrain, here is what to look out for as the teams get to grips with their new wheels.

00:13 they have been developing since the middle of last year. Pace and performance are always

00:18 top of the agenda and discovering whether any of the teams have aerodynamic issues that

00:23 could hinder them is key. Tyres are also important, as teams will attempt to see how their cars

00:29 respond to the rubber to see whether they hold up or degrade during punishing sessions.

00:41 not run at full capacity at all until the first race and some may even bring upgrades
