00:00 Can the Milwaukee Bucks get back to being a championship contender?
00:04 The Bucks sit outside the top 10 in this week's edition of the Power Rankings
00:09 and entered the All-Star break with back-to-back losses to Memphis and Miami.
00:14 Now, the record under Doc Rivers has not been good.
00:18 The Bucks are 3-7 since Rivers took over as head coach
00:21 and looked pretty bad in those losses to the Heat and to the Grizzlies.
00:24 But inside that Bucks locker room, there are some encouraging signs.
00:29 I had a chance to catch up with Damian Lillard over the last couple of days
00:32 and Lillard told me that he is encouraged by what the Bucks are now doing offensively,
00:37 where there is more an emphasis on the two-man game between himself and Yosted DeCumpo.
00:42 And defensively, while the Bucks have been mired in the bottom third in the NBA
00:46 in defensive efficiency for much of the season,
00:48 over the last 10 games, the Bucks are 12th in the NBA in defensive efficiency.
00:53 So there are some encouraging signs there as well.
00:56 No question, there is a huge amount of urgency to win now in Milwaukee.
01:01 This Bucks team has a very tight championship window.
01:04 But even though the record as of late has not been good,
01:08 players inside that locker room still believe that this season can be salvaged.
