00:00 Senator Aimee Marcos answered the statement of a congressman that she has cut the budget of the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program or 4Ps and transferred it to others.

00:11 The deputy of the House Committee on Appropriation, Vice Chairman Raul Angelo Bongalon said that Php 13 billion was reduced in the 4Ps.

00:20 Senator Marcos explained that in the budget deliberations of 2022, only 45% of the 4Ps budget was used by the Department of Social Welfare and Development.

00:32 Instead of solving the Php 8 billion that was not used, Senator Marcos recommended that it be transferred to other programs of the DSWD that can be easily implemented.

00:43 She also recommended that Php 5 billion be transferred to Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situation or AICS.

00:53 But she removed it when it came to the Bicameral Conference Committee.

00:57 She said that Php 13 billion was probably the reason why it was cut.
