A clever pooch prevented a potential house fire by unplugging a cable that had burst into flames.
Heibao the dog was alone at home in Hougangtoucun village in China's Henan province on February 6 when it saved the day.
CCTV shows Heibao, Belgian malinois, spotting what appears to be start of an electrical fire worryingly close to a piece of fabric.
Without hesitation, the clever pooch jumps into action and yanks the cable unplugged, preventing a potential disaster.
When owner Hao Zhipeng returned he thought Heibao had simply chewed the cable, only realising what happened after watching the tape.
