00:03 So anyway, KD says the media is not aware of his leadership.
00:08 And Vogel says his star leads by example, but speaks up when he needs to.
00:13 Now I saw this interview today, this softball candy ass
00:18 interview that this chick did from ESPN.
00:21 I don't know what her name is to save my ass.
00:23 I don't care.
00:24 She hosts the NBA show from inside the Lakers locker room every day,
00:30 nobbing the Lakers like no other.
00:33 I mean, how about this team?
00:35 Like, they'll be favored to win the NBA championship and
00:40 they're not even in the play-in tournament.
00:42 If it were up to her and ESPN.
00:44 I saw this chick doing this candy ass interview with Durant.
00:49 And he's talking about being a leader and
00:52 that he wants to play in Phoenix for the rest of his career.
00:56 I mean, this guy has changed teams like I change underwear.
01:01 And I'll tell you another thing, he is never happy.
01:06 People talk about, he said to her in this interview, and
01:10 you know who I'm thinking of, the chick that hosts the NBA today.
01:12 >> Yeah, I know who you're talking about.
01:13 I like that, inside the Lakers, like is there no other teams in the league?
01:17 It's like, get a grip, man.
01:18 I'm so sick of it, too.
01:20 >> So she's talking to him and he's like talking about how,
01:24 he's a quiet leader and all this other, I'm like, listen,
01:28 this is the same guy that cries every time mentioned.
01:33 If he isn't mentioned as one of the greatest players of all time,
01:36 he starts crying.
01:38 Like people don't respect my game on this, I'm not like, I've always believed.
01:44 Like, did you ever seriously once ever see Larry Bird or
01:49 Dr. J begging for accolades, begging for people to confirm their game?
01:56 They knew, those guys knew they were the greatest players.
02:01 They didn't have to have ESPN and everybody else do stories on them and
02:06 have fans.
02:07 And here's another thing, I don't deny the guy's a great scorer.
02:11 I think that's all he is.
02:13 He's a great scorer.
02:14 He can shoot and score and knock it down.
02:17 But I've never seen a guy that's that good,
02:22 crying for people to confirm that he's good.
02:26 I've actually never seen it.
02:28 But I have seen him in the playoffs the last, I don't know, seven years.
02:32 When he puts the ball in the deck, he gets it stolen from him every time.
02:36 I think he's a pure scorer.
02:38 And people talk about him being long and blocking shots.
02:42 I never see him blocking shots.
02:44 I never see him doing anything besides shooting.
02:48 That's what he does.
02:49 He scores and that's it.
02:51 And to me, frankly, and I know he's a great player.
02:56 I'm not stupid.
02:57 I played basketball my entire life.
02:59 But I've never seen anyone look so uninterested in it in my life.
03:02 He just looks like he's miserable when he's out there.
03:05 Like he not happy with nothing.
03:06 Remember when the Nets said goodbye to him?
03:09 He went no part of it.
03:10 And he walked out like he was at a funeral.
03:14 I'm going to tell you something, too.
03:14 Any guy with fake Twitter accounts, like, "Hey, he's not a bad guy."
03:18 He's like, "Dude, you're a grown man.
03:20 So I don't know what to do for you."
03:22 Also, this is the same guy who said, "Hey, if Seattle comes back,
03:24 I'd be very interested in coming to the Seattle franchise."
03:27 So you're right, Scott.
03:28 Things change on a dime.
03:29 Opinions change on a dime.
03:30 He is a great basketball player, though.
03:32 You're right.
03:32 Score, he doesn't do much on the defensive end.
03:35 He could be a hell of a lot better if he put the work in.
03:37 But he is a prolific scorer.
03:39 -Defensive end.
03:40 What does he do on the defensive end besides nothing?
03:44 I mean, honestly.
03:47 Look, he won with Curry.
03:50 Curry got him rings, and I won't deny it made him look so good
03:57 when he played with the Warriors because he had Curry and Thompson
04:01 at the peak of their careers, hitting threes from everywhere,
04:04 leaving him wide open to do whatever he wanted.
04:08 And that's why he got those MVPs, as far as I'm concerned.
04:11 When he played in Brooklyn, he couldn't win with Harden and Irving.
04:15 And now he's in Phoenix with Booker and Beal.
04:19 And, I mean, they're not even close to being favored to win anything.
04:23 I mean, honestly, he's been on super teams left and right.
04:27 He was on a super team in Oak City when he was a kid,
04:30 and he didn't win there either.
04:32 He won because of Steph Curry and Draymond Green and Klay Thompson
04:38 and Steve Kerr.
04:39 That's why.
04:40 If he would have never left there, he'd have four or five rings
04:44 instead of the two that he got.
04:46 And that's just all there is to it.
