Mammoth collection of band memorabilia up for auction
Memorabilia from a host of touring music superstars on tour dating to the eighties will go under the hammer this week.
Old tour t-shirts, signed records and album sleeves for band including Bon Jovi, Def Leppard and Simply Red will be among the lots up for sale at Stourbridge based Fieldings Auctioneers Ltd, in Mill Race Lane on Wednesday.

00:30 Lots of people know who Dee was, he was a well-loved guy in the industry.
00:34 He was a tour manager for Simple Minds, Simply Red, Bon Jovi, loads of bands,
00:41 Def Leppard, Crowded House, they keep going on.
00:45 He was a tour manager for those and we are just so delighted to look after the collection,
00:51 which involves t-shirts. I mean this quite amazing Thin Lizzy one from 1979.
00:57 I mean there's no way I could fit in that, I'm not even sure you could to be honest.
01:01 But you can imagine back in 1979 looking after that tour and going to see Thin Lizzy,
01:06 must have been a bit of a cool thing to do.
01:09 So yeah, we've got loads of t-shirts ranging from the 1970s right up until the 2000s as well.
01:14 So, sadly Dee passed away last year and all proceeds from this sale are to be donated to charity.
