06:17 Subhanallah.
06:19 Whenever you read this, there is a nostalgia.
06:23 I have been listening to this for a long time.
06:26 It is a pleasure.
06:27 All the memories are coming back.
06:29 JazakAllah.
06:31 Mufti Amir Sahib, if you could start with this.
06:34 Explain this.
06:36 Shab-e-Baraat.
06:38 We say Baraat in Ramayana.
06:40 What does it mean?
06:43 [Speech]
06:55 It is the beginning of repentance.
06:57 There is Bizaari, Nijat, Takhliya, Al-Aidqi.
07:02 All these meanings.
07:04 We say Shab-e-Baraat because it is the night of salvation.
07:09 Allama Sahib has mentioned this night.
07:13 There are many other narrations.
07:16 Allah Almighty descends on the heavens.
07:21 And He sends His special mercy on His servants.
07:25 We have Marfu narrations.
07:28 The Prophet himself went to the graveyard that night.
07:33 And when he returned, he spoke to Aisha.
07:40 She said, "Do you know what night this is?"
07:43 "This night, Allah Almighty has forgiven the Muslims of my Ummah."
07:52 This is a Marfu narration from Hazrat Ali.
07:57 Hazrat Ali said, "Allah Almighty descends on the heavens this night."
08:04 There are many other narrations.
08:07 Because of which we say this night is the night of salvation.
08:11 Because the Prophet has announced forgiveness and mercy.
08:16 There are other narrations that say this night is the night of forgiveness.
08:23 There are those who ask for forgiveness.
08:25 There are those who ask for forgiveness.
08:27 There are those who ask for children.
08:29 And the commentators have written that this night is the night of salvation.
08:36 The person asks for it and is given it on the night of Qadr.
08:40 These are the clarifications.
08:43 There is a narration from Hazrat Imam Hassan.
08:48 He says that Hazrat Imam Hassan used to distribute the night in three parts.
08:54 In reciting the Holy Quran, in Nawafil, and in reciting Durood on the Prophet.
09:01 There is a narration from Hazrat Ali.
09:03 He recites 100 rakat of Nawafil in this night.
09:07 And in every rakat, he recites Surah Ikhlas with Surah Fatihah.
09:12 There are more than one such narrations in this night.
09:17 The purpose is to make this night available.
09:21 [Hassan] Explain one more thing, Mufti Aamir.
09:23 Is it possible to ask from Allah?
09:26 Obviously, the one who gives is the one.
09:30 Should we ask for everything?
09:32 Sometimes a person thinks of a small thing.
09:35 For example, I like this brand of clothes but I don't have the ability.
09:43 The purpose of asking this question is that two types of thoughts come to mind.
09:46 One is that are you asking for treasures of this world and the hereafter?
09:54 The second thing that comes to mind is that whatever you have to give,
09:57 Even if it is a small part of a nail,
10:00 If it is safe, and if it spreads a little, it will start to hurt.
10:03 That is also a gift from Allah.
10:05 So I will ask from Him and not anyone else.
10:07 So what should we do?
10:08 Sometimes a small thing comes to mind,
10:10 Even if we don't tell anyone, we feel ashamed to ask.
10:12 Should we ask from Allah thinking that He is the one who gives?
10:15 Or should we not ask thinking that what are you asking from Him?
10:18 Are you talking about the level?
10:20 [Ghamidi] It is true that we should ask from Allah in the same way.
10:23 The glory of Allah.
10:25 Someone asked Allah for heaven.
10:29 So He said, "Ask for paradise and paradise."
10:32 This is in its place.
10:36 But if you have to drink a glass of water,
10:39 Will you ask for a glass or a whole container?
10:42 The thing is that whatever you need,
10:45 Whatever your requirement is, you will ask from Allah.
10:49 Even if it is a small thing, you will ask from Allah.
10:52 If it is a big thing, you will also ask from Allah.
10:55 [Ghamidi] There is no such thing.
10:58 [Dr. Ghamidi] Mufti Sahab has given such a beautiful example.
11:01 This glass and container of water.
11:04 If you notice, what is its value?
11:07 In economics, it is said that the price is determined according to demand and supply.
11:11 [Ghamidi] Opportunity and cost.
11:13 [Dr. Ghamidi] Exactly.
11:14 In the case of Bahlul, Haroon Rashid asked him,
11:16 Do you know what is the value of my government?
11:20 Bahlul asked him, if you are about to die in the desert,
11:25 And you do not have a glass of water,
11:27 What will you give in return?
11:30 And he said, I am ready to give a glass.
11:32 He said, I will give half of my government in return.
11:35 He said, if the water gets stuck and does not come out as urine,
11:39 And a doctor comes and says,
11:41 I can give a pill, medicine, juice,
11:45 After drinking this, this problem will be solved.
11:47 What will you give him?
11:49 I will give half of my country.
11:51 So now you understand the value of your government.
11:54 The total government is a few drops of water and a few drops of urine.
11:58 The price is determined according to this.
12:01 A person is about to die,
12:03 Now he is a water tanker,
12:05 For him a glass of water is everything.
12:07 It is the smallest thing, the biggest thing.
12:10 No doubt, a person,
12:11 Rabbana aatena fi dunya hasana,
12:13 He is the Lord of the world,
12:15 He gives all the goodness of the world,
12:17 He gives all the goodness of the hereafter.
12:19 Then it is obvious that the rank of the wealth is high,
12:21 So we also pray for the deceased.
12:23 Not only in heaven,
12:24 He says, the Lord of Paradise,
12:25 In the Al-Ilyin,
12:27 In the Jawaar-e-Masumeen,
12:28 In the proximity of the Prophet,
12:30 So it is obvious that he is the proof of the wealth.
12:33 [Hassan] What to say, what to say.
12:35 What will you sing, Mr. Al-Mukari?
12:38 Where there is a pure and pure place,
12:45 There is the best of places.
12:50 If there is no paradise,
12:56 Then what is there?
13:01 Where am I, where is this?
13:07 The streets of Madinah,
13:12 If there is no destiny,
13:18 Then what is there?
13:24 What do you ask the greatness of Muhammad?
13:36 That he is the Lord of the universe,
13:43 Who is the Lord of the human beings,
13:53 Who is the host of the human beings,
14:09 If there is no greatness,
14:15 Then what is there?
14:21 Who hides the slave in his lap,
14:33 Who also gives prayers to the enemy after being wounded,
14:45 What else will the world call him?
14:55 If there is no mercy,
15:01 Then what else is there?
15:06 Where there is a pure and pure place,
15:12 There is the best of places.
15:17 If there is no paradise,
15:23 Then what is there?
15:28 Where am I, where is this?
15:34 The streets of Madinah,
15:39 If there is no destiny,
15:45 Then what is there?
15:50 [Hassan] SubhanAllah, what to say, SubhanAllah, JazakAllah.
15:54 We are listening to this talk, but today's topic is Shab-e-Tawbah.
16:03 You first told us about Barat,
16:06 Please explain what is the meaning of the word Tawbah,
16:09 What is its literal meaning,
16:11 And how to explain it in general terms,
16:13 What is its actual meaning?
16:15 [Ghamidi] In general terms, it can be understood as,
16:17 Ego,
16:19 That is, words are spoken by a person,
16:21 And then they go somewhere,
16:23 And then they collide and come back,
16:25 This is called ego.
16:27 The meaning of Tawbah is,
16:29 The person who had deviated from the straight path,
16:31 He came back to the same path.
16:33 When he made a decision,
16:35 And after making a decision, he searched for the right path,
16:37 Where did I come? This is wrong.
16:39 So when he realized that it was wrong,
16:41 He did not insist on that mistake.
16:43 This is the expression of the Quran,
16:46 He did not insist on the wrong thing he had done,
16:50 And he immediately accepted to come back.
16:53 It is like,
16:55 If you had to go in a direction,
16:57 If you have Google Maps,
16:59 You put a location in it,
17:01 And after putting the location,
17:03 A voice starts coming, this is guidance.
17:05 This is a kind of guidance.
17:07 Now go ahead, turn right, turn left,
17:09 Take a round from here, take a U-turn,
17:11 And then it will come out like this,
17:13 This voice that is coming,
17:15 Like a guidance,
17:17 What is Tawbah? Tawbah is that the guidance will be followed.
17:19 When a person put that location,
17:21 His intention was to follow the guidance.
17:23 He was confident that he would guide correctly.
17:25 So after putting this location,
17:27 He is following this instruction.
17:29 And he reaches his destination.
17:31 If somewhere he feels that
17:33 I have ignored the guidance,
17:35 Then what will he do?
17:37 Oh, oh, oh, it is wrong.
17:39 The first feeling that this guidance was different,
17:41 I have done something else,
17:43 This is the first feeling of regret.
17:45 That something is wrong.
17:47 Then after the feeling of regret,
17:49 The emotion of correction,
17:51 That I have to come back on the right path.
17:53 And there he saw, he found a new route.
17:55 He was told that your route is a little long,
17:57 But now you have to do this.
17:59 So now you will reach.
18:01 The more he ignores it,
18:03 The more he will stay away from his destination.
18:05 The sooner he follows it,
18:07 The sooner he will come on the right path.
18:09 I have sent people in the world,
18:11 For guidance, in the form of the Prophet,
18:13 In the form of the Quran,
18:15 This whole system of guidance is established.
18:17 And now you have to move forward.
18:19 Keep moving forward, keep listening,
18:21 How to move forward.
18:23 And wherever you feel that for some reason,
18:25 Whether it is because of the misguidance of the self-proclaimed,
18:27 Whether it is because of the devil's whisper,
18:29 Whether it is because of the world's color,
18:31 You have ignored that guidance,
18:33 You have bypassed that direction,
18:35 Then the direction is not closed.
18:37 It is coming, it is coming continuously.
18:39 Keep listening, open the book,
18:41 You will understand the direction.
18:43 Open the hadith, you will understand the direction.
18:45 Stay in touch with the scholars, you will understand the direction.
18:47 And now just get ready for correction.
18:49 As soon as he is ready for correction,
18:51 This is practical repentance.
18:53 Expressing regret from the heart,
18:55 And practically doing that correction.
18:57 [Hassan] It has disappeared, we will call it like this.
18:59 And Mufti Ahmad Sahib,
19:01 How much is this condition necessary for repentance,
19:03 That along with that action,
19:05 One should also be determined not to repeat sin.
19:07 On one hand, we listen and
19:09 We are satisfied that the person is sinful,
19:11 But Allah has also kept the path of repentance.
19:13 So if something has gone wrong,
19:15 It is not that there is no remedy for it,
19:17 It is repentance.
19:19 But I will tell you a heart to heart conversation,
19:21 That when a person is doing this,
19:23 Even then, somewhere in the corner of the heart,
19:25 It is said that
19:27 It is also possible that this work will be done again.
19:29 So in this case,
19:31 Was this repentance or not?
19:33 That I am ashamed of my mistake,
19:35 Regretting, and seeking forgiveness.
19:37 But from within,
19:39 It is also said that this work can be done again.
19:41 So what is it? Was this repentance or not?
19:43 [Ghamidi] See, if the intention was certain,
19:45 That while repenting,
19:47 I will do it again, that is not repentance.
19:49 Because while repenting,
19:51 This intention has to be done,
19:53 That I will not do this action again.
19:55 [Hassan] Not to repeat.
19:57 Otherwise, it is not done, if this is in the mind.
19:59 [Ghamidi] The second is that,
20:01 These things can be wrong with any person at any time.
20:03 So under that possibility,
20:05 If this thing came to mind,
20:07 Even while repenting,
20:09 So in further repentance,
20:11 You will have a
20:13 Intensity,
20:15 Hatred,
20:17 That O Allah,
20:19 Keep me safe from this sin.
20:21 Keep me safe,
20:23 So that the person can remove that fear,
20:25 While repenting in the presence of Allah.
20:27 That is, ask Allah,
20:29 That O Allah,
20:31 Keep me safe from these sins,
20:33 From these mistakes, from these disobediences.
20:35 So that the person,
20:37 The fear of that feeling,
20:39 He presents it in the presence of Allah.
20:41 So Allah will, Inshallah,
20:43 Keep him safe from that mistake,
20:45 From its repetition.
20:47 Because the intention of the person is real.
20:49 If the person has the intention,
20:51 Then the person will also act on it.
20:53 If he targets the biggest thing,
20:55 He can achieve it.
20:57 Allah has given the intention of the believer,
20:59 So much strength and power,
21:01 Then he himself,
21:03 Becomes a part of the intention of the believer.
21:05 [Hassan] So this approach is also not right,
21:07 That in these moments,
21:09 One is disappointed with Allah's mercy,
21:11 That what is the point of repenting,
21:13 I know I have to repeat it,
21:15 [Ghamidi] This is a completely wrong approach.
21:17 That Allah,
21:19 When you repent,
21:21 It is as if,
21:23 You are expressing in front of the person,
21:25 That you are the master, you are great,
21:27 And I have made a mistake, I am small.
21:29 So his being great,
21:31 His being small,
21:33 His being a God, his being a servant,
21:35 His being ungrateful,
21:37 And his own ungratefulness,
21:39 All these things are included in it.
21:41 You are only looking at one thing,
21:43 That this will not happen, so what is the point.
21:45 So all the other goals behind repentance,
21:47 Your ungratefulness,
21:49 Your servitude,
21:51 Your being small, your expression,
21:53 All of that dies.
21:55 So you should never leave this thing, repentance.
21:58 [Ghamidi] And similarly, this is also a wrong approach,
22:00 That not doing one good deed,
22:02 Thinking that I am doing so many bad deeds,
22:07 As an example,
22:09 It doesn't mean that the rest of the bad deeds are being justified.
22:11 But I have seen it practically,
22:13 That if someone is going for prayer,
22:15 What is the point of praying now,
22:17 After an hour you have to do this,
22:19 And leave it.
22:21 [Mohammed] Because he has to do a wrong deed,
22:23 So leave this, because what is the point.
22:25 [Ghamidi] The point is, this is a wrong approach,
22:27 It is mentioned in Hadith,
22:29 When a believer commits a sin,
22:31 A black dot is placed in his heart.
22:33 A black dot is placed.
22:35 If he does a good deed, that dot is erased.
22:37 If he keeps doing good deeds,
22:39 His heart is filled with joy.
22:41 If he keeps committing a sin,
22:43 The dot will be placed and his heart will be filled with blackness.
22:45 [Mohammed] This calculation is going on.
22:47 [Ghamidi] This calculation is going on.
22:49 If you have committed a sin,
22:51 And you have done a good deed,
22:53 The minus will be plus.
22:55 So when we say,
22:57 There is a crisis,
22:59 Where there is a lot of sin,
23:01 Then there is a lot of pressure.
23:03 If you do a good deed,
23:05 Then the burden of it reduces.
23:07 Some people feel light.
23:09 So you should not leave doing good deeds.
23:11 [Mohammad] I have an example in mind,
23:13 That if someone is associated with a business,
23:15 Or a department,
23:17 But he is going for Namaz,
23:19 And his friends are saying,
23:21 What is the use, you have to go for work in the morning,
23:23 And then you have to do Jhangar.
23:25 What is the use of Namaz?
23:27 So he should not do that work.
23:29 But on the basis of that,
23:31 Not doing this is not logical.
23:33 [Ghamidi] It is not logical.
23:35 We say,
23:37 We can't do everything, does this mean we should not do anything?
23:39 If we can't do everything,
23:41 Then it means we should not do anything.
23:43 The sentence in the book,
23:45 If you can't do everything,
23:47 Then don't leave everything.
23:49 At least get something.
23:51 And if you see,
23:53 From a business point of view,
23:55 If I had taken this decision,
23:57 I would have become a billionaire.
23:59 But if I am taking now,
24:01 I will become a millionaire.
24:03 He will say, leave the million,
24:05 Even if I get lakhs, I will take it.
24:07 Sometimes there is loss in profit,
24:09 Sometimes there is loss in loss.
24:11 When a person tries,
24:13 To maximize his profit,
24:15 To minimize the loss,
24:17 But it doesn't mean,
24:19 If there is loss in two places,
24:21 Then leave the rest of the profit.
24:23 Try to balance it.
24:25 And try not to have loss in future.
24:27 But the profit that is happening,
24:29 If you surrender on it,
24:31 [Ghamidi] And it is also possible that this good deed,
24:33 Provides him the ability to counter that evil.
24:35 For example, I heard from the scholars,
24:37 If someone makes a habit,
24:39 That I have to offer Namaz first.
24:41 If I do that,
24:43 You will feel the power,
24:45 That I will leave the bad deeds.
24:47 So it is also possible,
24:49 That this good deed,
24:51 Will become 1+1=11.
24:53 It will give a multiplier effect,
24:55 To counter the bad deeds.
24:57 [Dr. Ghamidi] For example,
24:59 If a person is reading the Quran,
25:01 Even if he is doing 2-4 bad deeds,
25:03 We don't talk about the nature of the sins,
25:05 But if he is reading the Quran,
25:07 If I ask him,
25:09 If he says,
25:11 God talks about righteousness,
25:13 And says, stay away from sins.
25:15 And this sentence affects his heart.
25:17 So why do we hurry to declare a lost case?
25:19 Not everyone has the destination of Khatamallah wa ala Qulubihim.
25:21 [Ghamidi] Why are you stammering?
25:23 [Dr. Ghamidi] We are seeing that when
25:25 Prophet Moses goes to the court of God,
25:27 What is God saying?
25:29 Prophet Moses says,
25:31 [Arabic]
25:33 Go to Pharaoh,
25:35 He is certainly a tyrant.
25:37 [Arabic]
25:39 Ask him,
25:41 Should I give you a suggestion to purify you?
25:43 There too, you can talk with peace.
25:45 [Ghamidi] Pharaoh is in front.
25:47 [Dr. Ghamidi] Although he is a tyrant,
25:49 [Arabic]
25:51 [Arabic]
25:53 Should I give you guidance?
25:55 [Ghamidi] Subhanallah.
25:57 [Dr. Ghamidi] So that fear of God is born in your heart.
25:59 So the Mubaligheen and the Wa'izeen,
26:01 They certainly think.
26:03 Case to case it makes a difference.
26:05 Anyway, do not hurry to declare a lost case.
26:07 [Ghamidi] The person will be disappointed.
26:09 [Dr. Ghamidi] Khatam Allah wa ala qulubehim.
26:11 But that is the last stage,
26:13 Do not make it the first stage.
26:15 [Ghamidi] Do not generalize.
26:17 [Ghamidi] Gharqari sahib, Bismillah.
26:19 [Ghamidi] Allahumma salli ala Sayyidina
26:23 wa maulana Muhammadin wa ala
26:25 aali Sayyidina wa maulana
26:27 Muhammadin wa barik wa salim.
26:31 Khula hai sabhi ke liye baab-e-rehmat.
26:57 Waha koi rutbe me adna na aali.
27:09 Murado se daaman nahi koi khaali.
27:33 Qatari lagaari.
28:01 Khada hai sabhaani.
28:09 Main pehle pehle jab Madina gaya tha.
28:21 Toh thi dil ki halat tadab jaane wali.
28:35 Main pehle pehle jab Madina gaya tha.
28:47 Toh thi dil ki halat tadab jaane wali.
28:59 Woh darbar saj much mere saamne tha.
29:21 Kabirat na saum had sika khaali.
29:33 Main eke hat se dil sabane huve tha.
29:45 Toh thi dusre ghat.
29:53 Rauze ki jaane wali.
29:59 Main eke hat se dil sabane huve tha.
30:11 Toh thi dusre ghat.
30:17 Rauze ki jaane wali.
30:23 Dua ke liye ghat.
30:29 Uthte toh kaise na ye ghat khaali.
30:41 Na bohat khaali.
30:47 Dua ke liye ghat.
30:53 Uthte toh kaise na ye ghat khaali.
31:05 Na bohat khaali.
31:13 [Hassan] Subhanallah, what beautiful words.
31:23 What you have asked what I took to observe.
31:25 Listen to the details.
31:27 A garland of praise, pearls of tears,
31:29 a garland of salutation,
31:31 What to say.
31:33 When you read this,
31:35 Dr. Amir Liaqat used to read this.
31:37 When he read this, it came to my mind.
31:39 May Allah forgive us.
31:41 May Allah raise the status of all the deceased.
31:43 Thanks to Dr. Amir Liaqat.
31:45 Thank you very much.
31:47 I want to end this towards the end.
31:49 Any advice,
31:51 Anything towards the end,
31:53 With this evening.
31:55 It is the month of Ramadan in 14-15 days.
31:57 People are mentally preparing.
31:59 Countdowns start.
32:01 Anything, anything.
32:03 [Ghamidi] Allah is the most merciful.
32:07 And His mercy finds ways to forgive its people.
32:11 If you get a chance to do good,
32:13 Never leave it.
32:15 Take it.
32:17 Who knows that good,
32:19 For your world, for your hereafter,
32:21 For both your worlds,
32:23 May it become a means of salvation.
32:25 [Hassan] Subhanallah.
32:27 I will say a prayer in your service.
32:29 Which has reached us through Ahlul Bayt.
32:31 I like it very much.
32:33 Allahumma innama khafirataka arja minam alik.
32:35 O Lord, I do not expect as much from my deeds as I expect from Your forgiveness.
32:39 Inna rahmataka ahsau min zambi.
32:41 And Your mercy is more abundant than my sins.
32:45 Allahumma inkaana zambi indaka azeeman fa affuka azamu min zambi.
32:49 O Lord, if my sins are great,
32:51 Then Your mercy and Your forgiveness are greater.
32:55 Allahumma illamakun ahlan an ablugha rahmatak,
32:58 Farahmatuka ahlun an tablughani.
33:00 O Lord, if I am not worthy to reach Your mercy,
33:03 Then Your mercy is worthy that it reaches me.
33:06 And take me in Your embrace.
33:08 Wa taasa'ani lianna wasi'at kulla shay'in.
33:10 Because He has taken everything in His embrace.
33:13 How can I be deprived?
33:15 [Dr. Shehzaad] Subhanallah.
33:17 Thank you very much, Mr. Siddique.
33:19 Amir bhai is with us.
33:21 Our program is going on.
