Los chefs que conoces tienen hobbies y pasiones que casi nadie conoce, y que no tienen precisamente que ver con la cocina.

Nos dimos a la tarea de conocer sus historias y descubrimos muchas cosas.

Hoy estrenamos Behind the chef: la serie a través de la que conocerás el ‘lado b’ de los chefs que definen la escena culinaria de México.

En este capítulo acompañamos a @alfredogri , del restaurante @1985antifine , a uno de sus lugares felices: las mueblerías donde le vienen las ideas para hacer de su casa un lugar feliz y seguro.

00:04 they always make you remember someone.
00:07 And I think it has to do with when I was younger.
00:09 I really liked going to the furniture stores with my sister.
00:12 I feel happy, I feel at peace.
00:14 So, when I go to the furniture stores,
00:16 I start to imagine, "I like this furniture for this,
00:19 I like this furniture for that."
00:21 And here, what I do is, I always invent something
00:23 and I sit down and "We're here, look, we'll see you in a bit."
00:26 And so I go there telling everyone, "Hey, can I try your armchairs?"
00:29 But probably a lot of people have seen me
00:30 and they've told me, "This guy just sits down in the living room
00:33 and talks to his coffee."
00:35 It's just that this place is very comfortable.
00:37 No one knows if they're going to choose it.
00:39 In fact, you're going to find a lot of similitude
00:40 in the color palette of my restaurant and my house.
00:44 I love spaces, I mean, being able to design,
00:46 because in the end, it's where you spend your whole life.
00:48 I'm very bad at Word, Excel.
00:51 Everything that has to do with sitting down
00:53 and being in front of a computer, I can't stand it.
00:55 I get impatient very quickly, I get desperate.
00:57 I don't have patience for that.
00:58 I know perfectly well that I'm a lazy person.
01:00 And I think that's also why I decided to study cooking.
01:04 The reality is that I don't go home
01:05 and make something super elaborate or something like that.
01:08 I like simple things that remind me of what I know
01:12 and what I like to do at home.
01:14 In the mornings that I cook,
01:16 after the fifth month, I always make, you know,
01:18 a fried egg or an egg with something.
01:20 I used to make these at home.
