00:00 I should have really liked Lidl to be honest. Maybe Asda. My go to is probably a Sainsbury's.
00:07 M&S is fantastic we like the food in particular. The Co-op from Tesco's and Aldi's. Well the
00:12 one that's closest to Co-op. I do actually quite like Marks and Spencer's. You go to
00:18 Tesco's because it's closer. I do shop at Marks and Spencer's yeah. Lidl. Lidl by Lidl
00:23 by Lidl by Lidl by Lidl. Each year W.I.T.C.H. conducts their annual supermarket satisfaction
00:30 survey and this time M&S has been awarded the top prize for the third year running.
00:36 In second place was German budget giant Aldi and in a separate survey of online supermarkets
00:41 Iceland came out on top. However Asda and Morrisons were found to be at the bottom of
00:45 the watchdogs rankings. There are many different factors that go into where you choose to do
00:49 your shop though. Here's what some of you had to say. I wish she was my favourite. I
00:54 wish I could have gone to shop at Marks and Spencer's. I mean don't get me wrong I love
00:57 the love the Percy Pigs the Easter stuff's brilliant. You know the Colin Caterpillars
01:01 but could never afford that. Tesco's and Aldi's are good value and good quality. Same as the
01:05 Co-op so I think the prices are good in all three shops and the quality is good and reliable.
01:10 I think if I do sort of like gravitate towards one it would be Sainsbury's. I do like Sainsbury's.
01:14 It's quite a nice atmosphere in Sainsbury's. I can't say I've set foot in a Marks and Spencer's
01:19 that much so I'm not quite sure if it's worth it for them but if they're nice then they're
01:24 nice. I just shop anywhere that is local for me. So like I work with Morrisons or just
01:31 the farmers nearby. I only buy clothes from there. My favourite used to be Debenhams.
01:35 Well now that's gone. I've changed my allegiance now to Marks and Spencer's. And I'm that age
01:42 as well aren't I? Let's be honest. And what about your food shop? Oh no we get special
01:46 stuff from there. If you want something extra nice we go to Marks and Sparks. The food is
01:51 consistently good and you've got things in there that you can buy that you can't probably
01:58 buy in Aldi. I think actually the basic, a lot of the basics are the same price as anywhere
02:04 else like the biscuits and the honey. It's the same price as Tesco or even Lidl. I tend
02:11 to try to avoid going to supermarkets because of all the plastic wrapping and also because
02:16 I'm a single parent working from home I actually get a delivery from Abel and Cole which comes
02:23 in a cardboard box. They take back the cardboard box. There isn't a lot of plastic involved
02:27 and I like to support my local butchers if I'm buying meat. We do tend to pop in and
02:31 it's more of a treat for us. We don't necessarily do a full shop there but yeah I mean I don't
02:37 have a favourite supermarket. Really nice clothes, really well made and all the standards
02:44 they do really really well and the food is a real treat. They have the best pea and ham
02:48 soup. We may even go there for our lunch. Oh yeah okay yeah. MLS is good when you want
02:53 to splash out and like you know like maybe it's a Friday and you want to get like a nice
02:59 lasagna or pizza or something but just for your day to day you want Lidl or Aldi or...
