00:08 voice, that talent. It is a once-in-a-lifetime talent and how lucky

00:16 that it is in our lifetime. In her autobiography, Barbara writes that she is

00:22 always thinking of a piece as part of a whole and that is evident in everything

00:26 that she does. Jennifer Aniston and Bradley Cooper giving Barbara Streisand

00:32 her flowers at the 2024 SAG Awards. You've got an icon presenting to her,

00:37 Jennifer Aniston, like that's going to be a moment on that stage. The whole night's

00:42 gonna be one moment after another and I can't be more thrilled about all of it.

00:48 Oh, it was a moment as the Friends star presented Barbara with the Life

00:54 Achievement Award. Barbara's music was always playing in my house growing up

00:58 and I remember so vividly the first time I heard that voice. I mean that voice. I

01:04 this feeling just washed over my entire body. My eyes just welled up with tears

01:10 and from that moment on I was madly in love with Barbara. But Jen wasn't the

01:16 only one who got to gush about Babs on stage. As Bradley Cooper, who starred in

01:21 A Star is Born, like Barbara in the 1976 version of the film, made a surprise

01:26 appearance. Barbara, you stopped at nothing in your pursuit of realizing

01:30 your brilliant visions. We are so pleased to be here tonight to see you honored

01:34 for your remarkable and truly unprecedented career. And Barbara, she

01:39 couldn't be more grateful for the honor. I'd like to thank SAG-AFTRA for this

01:46 fabulous honor and to say to my fellow actors and directors, I've loved working

01:53 with you, playing with you, and inhabiting that magical world of the

02:00 movies with you. And most of all, I want to thank you for giving me so much joy

02:07 just watching all of you on the screen. Thank you for that. For the Lifetime

02:13 achievement. How hard of a call is that? She hasn't been in an award show in 10

02:17 years, Fran. I said, you know, if you're not into it, I'm sure that this honor

02:23 will be available to you another year. But this is the year her book is out and

02:30 she's making a new album and, you know, she's got a new documentary coming out.

02:35 And, you know, all of that, this is the year. This is the moment.
