00:00 From last Sunday night we got the call to say can we set it up Monday so we've set the base camp up
00:04 in a very short time frame to scale up to house 300 firefighters and those crews are a combination
00:10 of Forest Fire Management, Country Fire Authority and partners from RFS New South Wales that have
00:15 come in to help us. I'm Wayne Rigg, Acting Assistant Chief Fire Officer. I'm from West Region here in
00:21 Ballarat in the west of the state and we're managing a bunch of fires across Grampians
00:26 region at the moment including the fire at Bayendeen and that's what the base camp's set up for.
00:30 We've set up accommodation and food and everything that's needed here at the base camp and
00:35 in partnership with the City of Ballarat we did that in a very very short time frame.
00:39 Everyone's come together to make it work really well.
